Starting a warehouse, Need HELP

Saving to buy this property from auction in a few months ....

I say start smaller also, 20x20 is a lot of work if you care about the end product. You can always go bigger if you need to. Remember NO tell No smell rules 1 and 2. To grow 15000 sq/ft you would need a full time staff of 10 or more people to care for and help harvest, be real man and good luck...JR

Oh and I don't know where you are but in my neck of the woods there are more growers (I'm not in CA) than buyers, you have to be able to move it if you are producing it in that large quantity. Just food for thought......

Just stick to what you know or start real small with some experimenting. If you have no experience with hydro I would not try a whole crop out with it, it probably will not end well and sway you from it in the long run. Keep us posted. JR

Well to be honest I'm hoping to put together a team of about that many people. I know its super risky but the only person I really need is someone who has done commercial operations or knows how to grow the best product possible. I have the seeds. Seriously I have distributors and I'm gonna offer the smoke at a price nobody can refuse. I've been cleaning the warehouse and I'm almost done. Now to start buying the hydro systems and lights

Also I thought about having a light setup which I talked about before and I have this idea to have lights surrounding the room and have them turn on and off progressively to immitate the sun with LEDs inbetween the HID lights. Just a thought. Or have the plants moved to particular locations automatically

I want to do SOG, a bunch of them and dedicate one of my biggest rooms to breeding, I thought about just randomly breeding plants and trying to of course make pure strains but i wont have that much time but it will be different bud. but I want to do SOG, a breeding room, cloning/mother room, and a room dedicated to those 15 foot tall plants with lights surrounding them. I want a mix of it all. What lights should I use for which?

alright chap sounds like your set for life with all the money you have and an empty warehouse to do what you wish with........ first things first i would search every route pos to make sure your not not going to waste alot of money also rasing alot of eyebrows with a fatory useing little to no energy then next thing its using 20kw per hour ok yes maybe your on a industrial energy rates but thats goign to be a big rise. 2nd thing if your strugling with what bulbs your going to need for growing and flowering yoir going to have a right nightmare with the hole grow as a hole so i recomend you take a trip to amsterdam and ask about in the cafes for there weed surpliers as 9/10 of the surpliers out there grow there own shit and its the best of the best and im sure if you offered him a offer that he cant refuse im sure how would sort you a kick ass grow room up and grow it for you with you have some of the best bud in england

just do exactly what a successfu grow on here does. Why not do albfucts. grow. Small, but a pound every two weeks. The hardest part is cloning. Lol, all that takes is patience. Copy everything. You could write that off as your nightlites in a wharehouse and learn a lot about how plants work. Man I love ebb and flow. And I just talked to a guy who ran the ebb and grows and this dude told me he hated that. I always here such good shit. But maybe in the end old ebb and flow is the best. Simple. Anyway, I have no life so I will set up your grow for some dough. I am a shitty grower, but I bet I got the hang of it now. I just spent a year screwing up every way you can imagine. Now that is how you become a troubleshooter. Lol. JK. Good luck and hurry up with some pics. Why not grow some shrooms too? Moonshine, shrooms, pot, open up a little hookah bar in one part. Nice little cozy place.

i got to agree with TEA TREE the ebb&gro's are slick and for someone starting out again there isn't a easier system that produces so much pulling 2-3 oz a plant is common under a 1000 watter with just 2-3 weeks veg. good luck

im curious how u plan on explain a grow op all the sudden appearing inside this warehouse. If this warehouse is supposedly empty and u want to start growing all these plants there alot more to consider then you would think. Your going to have to eventually get an inspection done as to why your using all of this power. Unless this warehouse is in the middle of nowhere not surrounded by anything but forests i think ur gonna have a hard time staying out of jail for this one. Unless is medical. then u might be alright

Man I would strongly recomend 4x4' ebb and flow tables with 1000watt hps for each table SOG, with no veg period just straight from clone to flower. This is the best because it is easy to maintain, watering is automated, thers no extra lights besides for your mothers and if you ever want to expand you can make more tables, and even hook it into the same resevoir. If you are interested, one of the most efficient setups I have ever seen is the following: submitted by"SOG" This produces a harvest every 2 weeks and if you lollipop style grow you can get 14g or more per plant with 4 plants per square foot, which means 64 plants harvested every 2 weeks (14g x 64= 896g) . This is incredible for a 16x16 foot space and since you dont seem to want to jump into 15000sq feet this seems appropriate yet will produce tons. Hope this helps.

That was my first thought. Not sure how much you grew in college, but if I were you, I'd get some grow experience under your belt first.

How the security on it,is there alot of traffic in and out of the area,how the eletrical.your gonna need a eletrician to setup a big op like that.

yeah you really do have a lot to think about here. if your warehouse gets raided your going away for a while if this is going to be done planning will take months and its still a huge risk

I'd cover my tacks... I'd have someway out of it if some bad shit went down and the cops got involved!! lord fuck old man!! 1000 to 2000 square feet to start is a nice friggen start!! this is your space well why not atleast buy your self some type of reason why the shit inside of your building is not yours... so this is what I would do... 1st I'd place adds to rent the building on commercial renters sites or in newspapers... make sure in the ad you have Heat and light included which would help explain why the bills are in your name if there was a raid...and keep some type of proof or your ad being placed... 2nd I'd do up a lease agreement and make as if I was renting this building to someone else... this just makes the lie more believable and heads the coppers in another direction.. shit I could come up with a million of these to cover my ass if i was in your position... but you already made your first mistake by posting it on here.... live and learn man!! but it would be nice to see pics and watch your grow!!

My first thought was some kind of cover business, if you are getting money you can set up something long term which can explain most of your activities.
