Starting My first Hidden wall DWC hydro grow, need some suggestions/advice !!

I started years ago with DIY DWC buckets. For me I found it the simplest thing in the world. I never ever saw slime, my buckets were light tight and i used a heated screwdriver to melt the hole for an airline.

I would be doing them now if I had space. Too simple for words.

edit: I wouldn't recommend for wheelchair users because of the weight of water.
Buddie of mine is in a wheelchair. He just uses simple siphon pump to change his water.

That's ingenious. Respect to him for finding a way. I always say there are those who look for problems and there are those who look for solutions. I think my hempy setup is perfect for wheel chair users.

Does anyone think its possible to build a skylight system, to prevent heat from entering the chamber, im using a 220 watt vent light

And when people do a scrog grow, and for obvious reason there is no leaves below the screen, is that a natural process? or do they get trimmed until they do not grow anymore

Thanks for all the help guys you are the best!

You trim under the screen right after you switch it to flower. Once it is used to the 12 hour darkness period it will stop growing new shoots and focus on bud growth.
If you are worried about the heat why not just pick up an aircooled hood.

Because i like the idea of it being super close to the plant with actually no consequence but i guess i could do that to! is my idea not posisble?

If you look at my setup, I have low height issue, I use aircooled and thought it would completely solve the issue. It solved all heat issues but because the lights are still close without the heat what happening is, im getting light bleaching to my bud.

Ive discovered that you can only get the light so close to the bud before you have tooo much light.

BUt what im saying is at the top of the grow room have a glass cutout and put the vent right on top, and moebius i just saw a cool tube grow in a cabinet on here and the lights were all the way touching the cool tube no bleaching problems, how is that possible?

I would love to know this too. Its probably that they were using 400w ballast. Mine are 600W.

I knew I should have purchased the dimmable. I may sell them on ebay.
