Stealth Speaker Box, Single Plant

Sounds think ill stick with what i got if you got them results. I ant got bags of space, i was scheming 150w HPS with a cool tube for a 100/60/80cm cabinet thats very rough measurement.

danng even your clones look tastey and compact, I've been giving this bonsai ganja tree a go, didn't work out too well tho haha.

that space is perfect for a cooled 150w HPS imo.

haha yeah I hope to get like 4 grams from each clone.. I can stick 8 of those inside the PC Case so thats a nice side dish with the big grow.

btw, dry weight of the Northern Lights is 37 grams or 1.3 oz. I'll post some pics of the dried buds later.

I love this grow. It took me forever to read it all... but I made it :) this is fabulous! I moved so I had to take down my 50 plant set up.. and now that I have the chance to rebuild its like being in the beginning again! I can't wait to try new things and one of those is small plants. I have this vision of rows of tiny little christmas trees growing out of small pots. And, vertical.. just sounds sexy when ya say it I really wanna give it a go! ;)

Small plants is how I'm going to go for a while. I have grown plants taller than me and in an entire room. I really wanna build a little incognito cabinet and throw half a dozen or ten little girlies in there. I was thinking scrog but the vision of uniformed tiny christmas trees is stuck in my head haha I was thinking of making attempts at figuring out an equation for bud grams to inches of grow space instead of the usual one you see here a lot for bud grams to watts.

The vertical grow and micro grow data are pretty interesting especially when you start taking costs of equipment and electricity into factor. Nasa is also experimenting with fruits and showing that smaller plants produce better fruits quicker and can recover and renew faster. They also require less food and water obviously but also less space for healthy root development. Its really intriguing stuff to go over especially when you think up or vertical even a book shelving unit suddenly becomes a space to grow ounces.

I have a hps 600 watt. I'm considering letting it go to one of my friends for the right $ because I have a 180w led panel and three t5 fl panels two four lamp and one eight lamp panel. I really wanna buy one of those $300 blackstars.. or two, haha <3 led

Your reveg pictures have taught me a lot. Its a truly unique thing to see. The confusion in the plant and the mutation followed by crazy growth like it says "oh damn I know what this is.. this is spring weather" and finally grows out all bushy and beautiful. I hope people who see this think to themselves "light leaks" because any one who has ever seen those curly leaves with the pointed stem coming outta their beautiful bud but swears... swears... there dark cycle is 100% dark. You should show them this. "Looks like extra light to me!" haha

You feel like reveg is worth it over cloning? Seems like a pretty interesting idea.. if you don't have to start off from a baby every time the root structure and the plant base already has such a great foundation seems like it makes for a faster turn around and possibly larger or quicker growing buds.

Anyway, beautiful :) sorry I typed so much 29 pages was a lot to read.. lol I had a lot goin through my mind by the time it was all done! Good times

hey JulzStarz, thanks for reading the whole thing, I'm glad you enjoyed it! its nice to know that smaller plants produce better buds. leds are cool if you have vertical space.. some day i'd love to grow with a big HPS and a LED panel to add that extra punch.

reveg is cool if you flowered a plant and it turned awesome but you didnt take clones to save the genetics. it takes alot of time until it starts growing again, but when it does start growing, its crazy.. new branches everywhere. bottom line from my experience, if you can spare the space and time, reveg is awesome. if you're tight on space and want quicker results, cloning would probably be faster.

happy growing! :weed:

it's a good indica buzz, might cause confusion and disorientation. :) if I smoke too much it crushes me and I have to go to sleep. overall a very good smoke, best yielder I've had so far, extremely easy to grow, but taste/smell - not my cup of tea.

I'll probably update way less than I did until now, but here's one:

Bubblelicious Reveg + NL Clones - 6th week of 12/12:

Bubblelicious will go down next week, NL clones still have 2-3 weeks to go.

Bubblelicious @ Speaker box - 1.5 weeks since transplant, 3.5~ weeks since roots:

EDIT: btw, I popped another Big Bud #1 seed, its vegging right now, only 4 days old. hoping for a male so I could breed.

Phew, thought you might've dipped out for a sec there. Welcome back; and yeah, this site does seem a ton more low key after the data loss.

Come next week, you will have harvested the same bubblelicious twice; that's definitely a cool thing. Gonna reveg her again or did you pick up some clones along the way? Northerns looks like a solid grower, under just about any condition. Despite the flavor, an easy grower with an appealing effect is definitely something to relish.

Bubble on the screen? Did you already start flowering? I'm stayin tuned for this.

still lurking.. :)

yes its cool to harvest the same plant twice. I think the second harvest will deliver more buds. not going to reveg again, takes too much time. I got clones of her vegging. from now on I'm gonna clone every new genetics I grow. experience tells me that even if the start is shaky, the end product might be awesome. NL is definitely a winner for noobs, its so easy to keep healthy! flavor and smell isnt bad or something, I just dont like it. a friend tried it and loved the smell and flavor.

havent started flowering the bubble in the speaker box. waiting until the screen is full - should happen in 2-3 weeks. it's going to be a fast round this time, the bubble finishes flowering in 6-7 weeks (of 12/12, not since showing hairs!).

Thanks man. actually I just started again after more than a year. maybe i'll upload some pics later if the mood is right. I've missed it so much, such a great hobby to have. :leaf:

5 grams can last u 10 days ?? Damn that's like a joint a day I need a few to enjoy my day lol
Haha, those were the good days. These days I have to settle for less while not having my own stuff to smoke. Shit's expensive here. Anyways it's all about the habits. Once you get used to smoking alot, there's no going back. :)

Haha I hear that man...just curious what did you use to cut the front off your speaker I have 2 speakers I wanna convert Into brownies but not sure what to use to cut the door with

I used a Jigsaw. one of these bad boys: jig-saw.jpg

For the fan holes at the back I used a tube driller but you can use a jigsaw for that as well.

Thanks man, was a good smoke too. I just started things again a couple of months ago.

I've got 3 grow spaces right now. The speaker box and a couple of PCs. First PC for Veg and clones, Second PC for a perpetual 12/12 Micro SOG with 8 or so plants in 1 liter bottles, and the speaker box for 1 plant in a 12 liter/3 gallons pot.

Right now I'm running my own strains that I crossed a while back. you can read about it a few pages back in the thread. First strain is Northern Lights x Big Bud #1, second one is Bubbleicious X Big Bud #1.

I popped 4 beans of NL x BB and got 1 female which is growing in my speaker box right now after 7 weeks of veg and 8 days of flower. found out it's a girl a few days ago. I was starting to worry after getting 3 plants with fucking sacks. Was relieved I didnt have to start all over again. Looks like a nice strong pheno.. short, big stems, tight nodes and fat leaves. Gotta love the Indicas.

Inside the Veg PC box I've got 4 BL x BB seedlings right now, about 1.5 weeks old. I'm gonna throw a couple of them inside the perpetual 12/12 PC box in a few days. the other two will go 2 weeks after that. hopefully I get atleast 2 females. Problem is the BL x BB cross didn't work as well as the NL x BB, the seedlings are all mutated and shit, but hopefully they'll still produce some buds. Not exactly stable genetics on those. I also cut 8-9 clones from the bigger plant in the speaker box so waiting for roots to show on those. They'll go inside the perpetual box as well, and I'll keep one as mother for more clones to keep things rolling.

So basically the plan is to harvest 1 "bigger" plant inside the speaker box every 10-12 weeks, and 2 mini plants from the perpetual grow every 2 weeks.

Maybe I'll take some pics tomorrow if there's enough demand.

About the LEDs, it's a shame. I was looking for something to reduce heat in the crazy hot summer we've got around here (95-100 degrees daily), and these bulbs seems like a great solution. Low heat, smaller electric bill and better light penetration is what I hear about them. Never seen them before around these parts, but I think I'll try looking again in local stores.

So what about building a simple DIY Led fixture if you are going to spend over $100?

In all the hubbub of LED bulbs here in the states...... if you would asked me, I would have assumed the EU[ or thereabouts] would have gotten them 1st...... so much for assumptions. But, I bet something is out there.

As far as heat during the summer, they are EXACTLY what you are looking for, IF the proper light can be found.....

Hans Panels? He's in the EU [little spendy but worth it]

Might not fit your dimensions, but worth a look :peace:
