It is. No doubt. But so, too, is oppressing the People and covering up political corruption while championing racism, corporate prisons, and mandatory minimum sentences. And I don't remember them being too outraged about Portland.
I can agree with that also.

Assest forfeiture. For profit prisons. Mandatory minimum sentencing, corruption, greed. I get it.

Things need to change.

Wow, that's almost as cheap as an AK clone!
I built one with all the bells and whistles for around $700.

That's hammer forged, chrome lined, full auto bcg, free floated barrel, good scope with light cross hairs and back up iron sites.

I can keep groups about the size of a quarter at 200 yards.

To buy one like it would cost double or more.

Its cheaper to build one. There is a 10% excise tax on assembled ones.

Here's this excerpt:

"Scalise was in critical condition after suffering damage to internal organs, and his injuries will require additional operations, according to a MedStar Washington Hospital Center medical update late Wednesday.

"Congressman Steve Scalise sustained a single rifle shot to the left hip. The bullet traveled across his pelvis, fracturing bones, injuring internal organs, and causing severe bleeding," MedStar said in a statement put out by Scalise's office. "He underwent immediate surgery, and an additional procedure to stop bleeding. He has received multiple units of blood transfusion. His condition is critical, and he will require additional operations. We will provide periodic updates."

Oh, shit. It wasn't an AR, it was an SKS, the predecessor to the AK. 7.62x39mm. Way more stopping power than the 5.56x45mm AR. That shit probably sucked. He'll probably never walk again, that shit probably shattered and tore everything. I'd be surprised if he pulls through. His iliac artery's gotta be shot (maybe pun intended.)

7.62X39 has better tactical penetration, but 5.56 is lethal as hell.

Must not have been a stock model SKS. They come with a 10 round non-removable magazine and are loaded with stripper clips in the field.

5.56 tends to do one of two things: overpenetrate in a flat trajectory or tumble. If it goes straight through, the body absorbs none of the kinetic force of the bullet, so no stopping power. Some people fight straight through it. If it tumbles, it's going to make a huge mess, and probably put you down. It can actually cause a head to explode. 7.62x39, you're not going to keep pushing through. That shit is going to stop you flat.

they said they could not find an exit wound, so i'm guessing it tumbled.
