The best northern lights ive sampled were from sensi that my brother grew about 6 years ago. My first smoke was northern lights but the sensi was basically like my first high all over except much more potent and alot more head stone. almost like your head is electrified i felt it behind my eyes. really on my 10 favorite strains. but i've not had the pleasure to grow them out, ive smoked the nirvana version and its not the same, its also good, just less potent and no trippy head high.

also sensi has a NL#5 crossed with haze, which is incredible as well and way more of a sativa pheno of northern lights. if you have a cross of NL#5 with Shiva skunk (another strong indica) you basically have one parent of the original Jack Herer, the other being the haze.

I can't offer anything on each strain individually but i can on k2 from barney's, a cross of what is supposed to be the original white widow and northern lights. It's a tough sob, very impressive plant that can yield very impressively when pushed just right, i have seen a talented grower pull minimum 3pounds per plant, one 600 hps to plant. The stretch in flower is intense but it all fills out. The smoke is top notch, smooth and tasty and it's one of those strains you can really influence the high come harvest time for indica/sativa effects. For a good producing and all around strain i highly rep it
*o snaps, i didnt know barneys carried K2... wonder if its the same genetics as the nirvana one( which is discontinued).. --tho nirvana did state their copy of k2 was from homegrown fantasy seeds..., sweet, found a new lead to look into :)

I'm not entirely sure if they still stock it but i've found plenty of reviews on it from barneys on strain sites and barneys is where this strain originated from if the info is correct. Add it all together and all i can tell you is this k2 is incredible and if it was from barney's i suggest that highly! Good luck

There is such variety in most seeds it's impossible to be sure that what someone is recommending is what you will get from that same seed strain (even "stable" strains). Need to run a bunch of seeds from a strain and pick the best.
