Super-newb - Aerogarden Grow

yea might be better just to get a seed kit, and take the seeds they come with out, and put yours in, no local hydro shops?

i found one up by my other house, but its a 2hr drive away...

i'll probably just get a kit at BedBath for now, then grab some rockwool/plugs next time i'm up there


For the record: Rockwool cubes, on top of a big tub of hydroton.....that will work for seeds, yes?

Well, I had planted 6 KC Brains Holland seeds, now replaced the shitty white spongemeat with the good AG grow-sponges.

6 is a lot, yes, but this time I only plan to let 2 stay in the AG. Hopefully, I'll be able to move the rest somewhere else, somehow...

yea man, i man you can manage them all in the AG, just gonna be alot of work, jus weed out all the males, no use is throwing away good female plants

Dude I can't believe I never meade it onto this thread until now. Sorry about your plants man... the rez just dried up completely while you were out of town? I didn't read the whole thread but I got bits 'n pieces. Seemed to be doing so great till it all went to shit. 'Course thats how those things go, eh? Well I'm on board for the next grow for sure homie. And btw, are you able to order the AG master gardener kit? Its got all the cages and the good brown AG sponges for growing your own seed.

I got 3 seeds already poppin' out the domes, and 3 still chillin in their little bio-domes.

I think since the babies were a little bigger then the first time u went out of town,they soaked up a little more of ur supply then u anticipated.That is my greatest fear,having to go out of town for more than a day.I'm using a lava rock/course vermiculite soil (neutral ph like hydro) and that shit is only good for one day,have to water everyday,like making breakfast.If I go out of town,my partner will water for me,but no plans on that.It's best to keep a secret until u need reinforcements.Sorry for the past loss and on with the new one's. peace out

But yeah, I have a buddy who's also growing, we watch each others crop if one of us leaves on the weekend. The only 1 person that knows!
