Now I'm am scared! But It's Cool! Cause I'm actually a women! But yeah my gadget is massive!
Never mind the flint, matches, or ky. As long as your massive gadget is made out of wood, and you can go fast enough, there is no need for extra weight from the matches or flint.

Awesome responses everyone! Just for fun I'm going to start to make a kit for the wife and I. Anyone see those paracord bracelets? They could definitely come in handy.

I got a real one bro, that's all you!
You will regret it after Armageddon my friend. When a man with a shotgun comes to you and demands your wife, and you have no pocket pussy to offer, both you and your wife will be screwed.

i would want a machete a lighter two types of string fishing line and some small rope and hooks. a cup to top it off. i could live on less but that would make it comfortable. if it came down to the bare minimum i would want a lighter

Wanna trade your .38 for a pocket pussy? It runs on solar!
I dunno, does it make dinner too? Cuz mine is making me dinner as I type this. If it makes me dinner and doesn't complain that it's "too big" I'll consider it.

The pocket pussy doubles as a shot glass when your done. So yes, it does make dinner.

When I was a Marine my primary job was to prepare pilots for worst cast scenearios by making sure they had all the items needed to survive on land or water for up to 5 days. Here is what we packed them up. The configuration was the CWU-33P22P-18 Survival Vest, and it just so happens I have one of my own but I broke it all down. I will list every item and sub assembley.

Medical Kit
Bandages and dressings
Tourni-quicks x2
Water Purification Tabs X 24 (these expire and need to be replaced every 2 years if I remember correctly
Antibiotic ointment and alcohol pads
Water Reciptilce (just a plain condom)
Some Toilet paper - something I always added to the kit
I also have a couple of packs of Quick-Clot but thats for extreme situations as it burns like nothing you have felt before.
Space Blanket

Survival Kit
Firestarter
small swiss army knife
Pocket-chainsaw - look em up they are fucking awesome and really cheap
waterproof matches
pack of hard candys like life savers
some chicle'
Rescue Card (instructions for basic symbols internationally reconized for rescue purposes)
pack of tight wound cotton treated with kerosene- comes in a foil pack about the size of a small lighter.
more water purif tab

General survial equipment
Basic survival knife can be purchased here - Ontarion kinfe company http://www.ontarioknife.com/catalog/item/11
Pen Flare kit as well as two multi purpose flare/smoke canisters (they are palm sized)
Strobe Light
Rescue Mirror
Whistle (no pit no metal)
wrist Compass
2 oz water bottle
Flash Light w/ extra batts
Hand crank radio
hand gps with ex batt.

I was able to fit all of this stuff into a pilots vest minus the quick clot, gps and extra batteries. It all fits into a nice heavyduty back pack now that has some extra stuff like dehydrated food stores.

Most of these things can be purchased online but it may cost you. I got lucky and got hooked up with lots of stuff while I was in. Nature of the job. I think bringing seeds and shit is a great idea too, def going to add a couple packs to it. Also if you had the time a few clones in a tuperware container right before you leave might be a possibility.

Thats what I got if shit goes down.
