I do. CUPE members have their medical insurance heavily subsidized by the taxpayer. Every Canadian worker contributes to a perk that only benefits public servants but is not available to private sector employees.
I still don't get how this isn't progress. Not all unions provide the same benefits, some others will follow eventually.
I guess if you're a CUPE member it's alright, it's the rest of us who have to subsidize it who are getting screwed. It isn't progress until all Canadians are treated equal.

I really don't give a shit what any private sector union negotiates for their workers, I have a problem with public sector workers being given perks that the rest of us pay for and don't benefit from. If you're so willing to give your money away to over-paid, under-worked government workers, why don't you pay my share too?

Not starting shit here but this is a terrible generalization and where credibility of the arguement is lost. I am a government employee. I do the work 2 jobs ahead of me and don't get paid for it. Obviously that is my choice I see the opportunity down the road. I also work with plenty of very hard working people. I also work with lazy fuckers something the private sector also has an abundance of.
