when I got my first one I couldn't decide either then the tattoo artist told me to just go with the first one I liked and I never regretted it, now 20 years later and I've got both sleeves, one leg, and chest, this is a pic of my last one and even though theirs supposed to be a background I just don't wanna get anymore work doneIMAG1062.jpg

I didn't mind the pain, the first line i felt alot but soon as it went on i was ok with it.
I thought it would hurt more but soon as adrenalin kicked in i was golden . But still wasn't a big piece.... so im sure as it goes on longer it might be a different story.

i like the feeling of it.. kind of like a massage almost. the only one that i got that pinched a little bit was on my wrist. i got 1 on each forearm, one on my wrist and a bigger one on my calf. the one i got on my calf was awesome, they had tv's lining the walls with xbox's to play while you were getting tatted. that was pretty awesome lol

The pain is addictive. Just gets a bit tender in some spots. I find the first 30 min is the wost then you can nearly fall asleep for the next few hours until they hit a tender spot (behind knee for eg)
Getting the same piece worked on two days running can make you grimace sometimes as its a bit raw.

is the bottom right complete? that one area seems to be lacking a little shading or is that how it was designed?

OT: I got a few tats, notably my back is pretty covered, one on my arm that I was going to cover but meh it's there and don't look bad just not what I want. last one was a shroom on me ribs.

only tat that hurt was the neck area but I just got back from florida and had some sunburn, my guy kept saying this is why he doesnt like me drinking and smoking before he does em. lol I had to take a bunch of breaks for only an hour.

I was a bitch for sure

Yah you definitely have to have enough respect for artist...and to be well prepared for a tat. Especially if doing a bigger piece...can effect tat if one cannot be a proper canvas .

Ive watched a few... tat til you tap:o
One time a lady just got a small piece on wrist and about 30 min in she was not feeling good and :spew:...guess she was hypoglycemic. .and didnt know...she had to stop. :wall: Something an artist should know prior to tattoo.
