Texas Outdoor grower's

Any texas grower's and any in the san antonio area?

People usually don't tell there location on a web site hehe

well some do and those that are willing i would like to ask some of there tip's and tricks for this texas heat.

I go to school in San antonio, and i haven't tried nor will i try to grow there, unless you have a good secure spot to go to. I'd rather grow somewhere safer than that area.

Grew up in Austin, college in Dallas, after that I lived near Canyon Lake( 45min. north of S.A. up 281) for many years, and have now moved north-- to an undisclosed location of course. I'm an avid grower of all kinds of plants, and while Texas is a really tough place to grow, it's not impossible--- I've grown tons of plants right in your area. I'm by no means an expert but pretty knowledgeable with Texas.

make sure u water your plants

Of course water your plant's but, is it bad to water during the day or shed some learning experience's you have learned growing in texas like only stuff that happen's in texas dubious06 please, also is it to later to start now i just put 6 plant's in a secure kinda location.

i usually plant at what most people would consider late in the season. you're gonna be lookin' at 60's to 70's around november so you should be just fine. not gonna get a very big yield though. babydroman is right, water is the biggest part in any grow of course, but especially down here where it's so arid. only thing you really have to worry about is flowering time versus the first freeze.

Okay, so i'm just trying to get some stuff before middle of october so how long should i veg and when should i start to flower? and water everyday ?

oh man, i just looked at your grow. sorry to say you're prolly not gonna get anything outta that. until i looked at your grow i thought you were starting them off inside.

watering every day is overkill. can't really control veg outside. only thing you can do is cover it to start flowering and then you'd be goin' back and forth each day to uncover it which would eventually leave a trail.

no there outside. why won't i get anything out of them.

In the hot texas sun you willwant to plant next to or the side of a tree because the direct sunlight will wilt the leaves fast ! 95 * for a week striaght is ok as long as its on the side of a big tree like a elm tree oak stree. etc. p.s. i heard texas dont phunk around you should be extremely secretive !

Thank's man, is it okay to have them in direct sunlight tell they sprout some leaves? and texas actually isn't that bad on the weed law's. this is were my plant is under the closet tree's and there's a ledge and than dip's and that's were they are.

because it's late in the season and they're just now popping up. not gonna mature fast enough, might get a couple grams.

and i agree with tiger, it's a weed and will grow anywhere BUT you'll have much more success beside a tree. keeps soil most longer, keeps plants cooler and you won't have to water em near as much. right now i have 6 of em that are about 4 feet tall beside a pond under some trees. main thing to keep in mind for your next grow... prep and amend the soil at least a month before putting em outside. if you can then start em off inside. i use sulfur and piss (not mixed together haha) to keep away bugs and any wildlife that might be tempted. miracle gro is acceptable. i compost and use my own mix though. fish emulsion and molasses are always good as supplements.

youll get some bud if its female. you can let it flower well into november with my experiance fo growing here, if u need to, and if conditions are right.

and dont water every day but every two days sounds about right or 3 would be fine when it gets more mature but if they dont get enough water as a seedling or small plant it will dry up real quick and die.

I honestly don't know if it's worth the risk. Huge penalty for a couple gram yield of fluff.
