Dear President Obama,

Just a note to thank you for getting the federal government out of my personal business regarding the use of medical cannabis.

Now, would you kindly work on getting the federal government out of other areas of my life? Would you start by signing an executive order abolishing the IRS, DEA, BATF, Department of Energy, the Department of Education, FEMA, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac .... on, and on, and on, and on .....?

Signed:

You loyal customer ... err subject ... err ... serf ... err ...Oh what the hell, I might as well say it .... Your non-loyal, proud citizen of the soverign State of California.

I'd like to know how the Department of Education, FEMA, and Fannie and Freddie are impacting your life (other than simply existing in the same world as you, which doesn't count).

Futhermore, Fannie and Freddie aren't really government agencies. Until last year, they were entirely PRIVATE - despite the fact that they were formed by order of Congress.

Damn skippy you should thank him. You should get down on your scabby knees and kiss his black ass. kiss-ass

Obama didn't criminalize cannabis. He wasn't even BORN when the marijuana tax act was passed, and he was 9 years old when the Controlled Substances Act was passed.

Now pucker the fuck up and smooch, baby.

Last Snopes check said half African and half Caucasian or do we ignore that? I suppose it wouldn't sound as cool to say kiss his white ass.

According to most people, if you have an ounce of African ancestry that makes you "black".

Does this look like a white man to you?

If he's half black, that makes his ass half black, too. So, kiss whichever cheek is darker if that's more politically correct in your eyes.

BTW, several generations ago my ancestors were African and Native American. Me and my kids are PALE WHITE (like pass the sunblock, watch out for skin cancer white) and have blue eyes.

According to most people, that makes us "black".

I don't buy that, but Obama isn't "white" by any stretch of the imagination.

Your right, he's not full blooded anything - nor am I & I just get fed up with the "race card" being thrown at the drop of a hat. I've got about 1/4 Crow & the rest British as the family history goes. I like the Crow personality but I look as white as freaking bread.

Don't impact my pale white ass? I beg your pardon, but those agencies burn up billions of tax dollars. My tax dollars. Bureaucrats sucking up money and pushing paper around. Complete waste.

As for kissing Obama's ass, get real. The man is destroying our economy, our freedoms of speech, and, to tell the truth, aside from doubling the deficit, hasn't done squat. Go around the world, and apologize for how bad America is, and how we fucked up. Turned back on our friends (allies) and kiss an Arab's hand is what he has done.
I'm buying gold and bullets, just to be safe.
Peace, bro...:joint:

Politics sure are funny. Yeah it's good the DEA dickheads were told to pipe down, BUT I cannot bring myself to thank somebody for agreeing to stop aggressing against peaceful people, no matter which color or ethnicity the egotistical fucker (Obama) is finally declared to be.

Okay...sigh, I'll try.

Dear Mr. Obama,

Thanks for this small measure of sanity. Can we please, I mean pretty please, own our bodies sometime in the near future if we aren't using "medical marijuana"?

P.S. - There's been some debate recently on a forum I frequent as to the color of your ass, I'm thinking it's kind of a light to medium brown, well is it?

Your Loyal Subject,

Rob Roy

You're delusional. Name one thing Obama has done that has "destroyed" your freedom of speech.

In case you didn't notice, the economy was in pretty sad shape when Obama took office. I believe the term used was "economic MELTDOWN". And that was BEFORE he took office. FYI: Our national debt has ZERO impact on the economy, and Bush screwed up our foreign relations so badly it'll be a miracle if we EVER recover even a shred of dignity in the eyes of the rest of the world.

Obama may have kissed an "arab's" hand, but Bush slipped him the tongue.

This is turning into a dick dance.

I simply asked that we send the President a note of thanks.

Since we can't play nice, or stay on topic, I think I will close the thread now.

Here is my letter. The address information below the signature block is not as it appeared in the actual letter.

Regardless of your opinion of the President. He acted courageously and deserves our support on this issue.

Please let him know.

Hon. Barack Obama
President of the United States
1600 Pennsylvania Ave NW
Washington, D.C. 20500-0004

Mr. President:

Thank you for issuing a policy memo regarding medical cannabis. It was the right thing to do.

I do not reside in a state which allows medical cannabis. Nor would I qualify for a license if I did. However, I do believe in freedom. This is an issue that required leadership and you exercised it. For that you have my gratitude.

I would like to see cannabis re-legalized completely. Liberty being my number one priority. However, I am also concerned with the economics of cannabis prohibition. Industrial hemp is an unfortunate casualty of the War on Drugs. Hemp could help re-energize our economy if its full power were harnessed. Fuel, food, paper, fiber; the benefits of this plant are too numerous to mention in a letter. The impact of hemp on our economy would create jobs and reclaim small-scale agriculture from the brink of extinction.

Thank you again for allowing patients access to a plant which relieves suffering.

Sincerely,

JohnnyOrganic

Dear Santa Claus,

Thanks in advance for all the cool things you are going to get for me. It's the right thing to do.

I would like a pony. And a choo choo train. And whatever else you say you're going to get for me.

Thanks again, in advance, for smothering me with free gifts.

Sincerely,

An ignorant schlub

PS- Why wait for Christmas? Let's just get this conferment thing going ASAP!

If you are unable to see past your own personal dislike of the man long enough to further the cause, we can't use you.

I did not suggest you suck the man off. Just thank him for doing the right thing.

Without encouragement from people like us, the politicians leave us with the status quo. Without a letup on MMJ, we go nowhere on re-legalization.

Is that what you prefer?

See through the fog of hope that seems to envelope your critical thinking on the topic of Obama and the role he plays concerning your rights as an American, and you will quickly come to the conclusion that the gift he gives comes at a great cost, and can be revoked at any time. This is no victory, just a stratagem do boost poll numbers. You thank the man for your freedoms at your own peril.:joint:
