Thank the President

I think you are naive for personally thanking Obama for his promised reprieve. :blsmoke:
You are welcome to your opinion.

It was a promise. Now it's policy.

That is why I thanked him.

I sincerely hope nobody on this forum is simple-minded enough to believe this qualifies me, of all people, as a die hard Obama supporter now.

I agree with you that thanking a "usually wrong" person when they do right is a good thing.

Your credentials as a freedom seeker are still solid in my book. Anyone trying to say different doesn't read and comprehend posts. Thanks for trying to encourage others to do something, ie write letters. Wishing pot was legal and bitching from the sidelines isn't getting it done, I commend you for doing something even though it's not what I would do.

Thanks Obama, For all the things you are attempting, comprehensive Medical reform, don't ask, don't tell, cutting executive pay, Maybe bringing the Iraq troops home, (not soon enough though), and I guess, even for giving MJ smokers some relief. As for me, the news today of Veterans funding expedience, signed into law, giving us Vets more and better health care is top of my list. Thanks Obama, for all the good that you do

Thank you for at least mentioning the topic in your diatribe.

I think we all know that NORML is on ourside, right? And we want to support them, right? If NORML takes the time to post a canned message to send thanking the PRES. Should we all not just swallow our pride, support NORML and send the letter?

The pre-written letter is a guide. One can choose to send it as is, or write an original letter as I did.

Sending the letter of thanks does not actually support NORML. The letter is in support of the movement, which NORML also supports.

Becoming a member of NORML is the most tangible way to support NORML.

Everyone who supports the movement should be a member of at least one of the cannabis policy reform organizations.

...and a new video game, and a pair of Nike's, and another bicycle...
Oh, I forgot about you ChChChChChoda. You raise your ugly head once more. As a Vet, something you most assuredly know nothing about, we do get medical care, small reward for some that have left body parts on the field of battle. I came back with all my parts, thank you, but having faced the beast of war (Viet Nam) will gladly take the bennies, oh BTW, fuck you.

Jesus god!

"I didn't watch my buddies die face down in the mud just so this ChChoda could shoot off his big bazoo!"

It's like watching The Big Lebowski over and over, every time you log on. Except The Big Lebowski was ha ha funny, not sad funny.

Although comparing you to Walter Sobchak is not a fair comparison. Walter talked the talk, sure; and he was an oafish loudmouth. But he also walked the walk. He was a bad-ass.

You seem to think you are the only member of this forum who served.

I think we're done.
