The 1st Grow & Organic

I got the seeds from a buddy who had no reason for them anymore.

1 is G13,
2 are Dutch Treat
3 are Big Bang

All organic soils.

I have the G13 in by itself. And covered, because the cat loves to go after that container specifically for some reason.
The room will be closed off, but she figures a way in.

the 2 Dutch are together, and the 3 big bangs are together on the end. The lighting is 5000k on the G13, (he said he had amazing results with just that) the Dutch's are running on 6500k, and the big bangs are running on 5000k. I dont really have high expectations for the g13 since the seed looked pretty beat up. But they were all germinized before putting them in. I put some saran wrap on them as well to help speed up the process abit, an lock in some heat.

this first run will stay in the closet, since I do have a nice amount of room to play with. After this batch is done. The next batch will be broken out into the full size room It is connected to with the closet. But I will be buying full light setup for the room. So pretty much this batch will be supporting the next run... HOPEFULLY all goes well. After they are big enough, they will be swapped into different pots. Just moved. so everything is all over the place.

looks like u have some work ahead of u, i would advise u to keep the kitty away from the plants. cats carry all sorts of pests/disease that can comprimise a crop, houses with a feline friend enjoy 10x the exposure to MRSA than those without.

good things to come, stay green!

Oh she will being kept away, the room is now locked off at all times. Finally bought a new door handle/lock setup for it. So no body other than me will be accessing that room.

Not quite sure yet, Idk if I want to break out the HPS for the harvest... or If im going to just do 5 125watt 2700k CFLs... I got along time before I decide I suppose. Came back from the store with some more supplies. Picked up a small fan to keep temps nice. an reflecting shields.

1st plant is G13
2nd is Big Bang
Full 360 reflecting.

Im aiming for atleast 5ft plants. I want some weight on these babies. Im thinking I might do 6 CFLs now total of 750watts for harvest... The lights would cover the bottoms, middles an tops. Wouldnt have to worry about areas not getting enough light, say if the HPS was just over head.

As of right now... I have 435 watts running for my vegging

love it man keep me posted i love veganic veggies

Oh no problem. thanks for chiming in an checking it out

well it definitely looks like you have sufficient height for 5 ft.ers in your closet, and with a hps over top they wouldnt end up a stretchy fluffy mess as im sure youve seen somewhere before with insufficient light.and as far as adding cfls hell yeah keep em comin!iM sure your ladies could one cfl per budsite(of course on her lower portion).you gonna do single cola plants or you gonna top em?or a lil bit of both?i also have about 20 seedlings from my breeding project that are 2 weeks old so i can relate to your thread.i wish the best for you and your girls and i cant wait to see how well they grow! Also if theres any questions at all just ask this site is full of so many mostly positive knowledgable growers Its awesome

five may be a lot, first time out. check out some of the pruning/training techniques, and save your side-lighting money. the canopy is where you make weight. colas, mon

It depends on how many hid fixtures the ventilation can maintain over the canopy plus with the right genes you can get some swollen Side buds as you know at little expense w/ cfl's.I employ the previosly mentioned techniques of tying down for 2 1/2 ft plants at most, but i can agree that for a first grow scaling down might provide better results.either way youll learn from the experience

Im just taking it as I go. Checking in on them atleast 3x a day. Making sure temps/humidity the works is in check, then misting them with water every time I check them. Alot of time and pride are going into these. Im thinking at 3ft Im going to switch them over to harvest.

The Big Bang got a nice growth spurt over night. Thinking shes going to be more Wide then anything.

nice i can def. relate to the many un-needed pop ins, they deserve the attention, and as far as misting goes unless you have a humidity dome or are giving them nutes through foliar spraying(which i doubt due to their age) misting them can cause more harm than good in most cases, sure they can drink through their leaves but you can pretty much leave it to the roots because of the possibility of the drops on the leaves magnifying the light leading to leaf burn.misting is more of an outdoor practice
