Do you mean Day 14 on switching to 12/12? Otherwise the flowering seems little bit slow IMHO.
Yes... Day 14 on 12/12. They didnt show legitimate flowering till the start of the 2nd week. Its a 60-65 day flowering plant. But... we will see...

the hairs are bigger than the bud itself at this point LOL!!! They have always been stubborn tho. But... this is my 1st grow, so Its a non stop learning experience

Day 16 of Flowering

The plants have started to explode!!!!

Tallest plant 28"
Medium plant: 24"
My personal Small: 8" still

My plant in the vegging room is 12" tall now. Probably going to give her 2 more weeks. If it has its way like the others... it will double an go for a triple. Gotta plan it properly. Also, threw in a new addition after germinating.

Out of the 4 clones, 2 of them made roots, and are starting to hop back into action!!!

They look amazing, hair everywhere, buds forming beautifully. No more bugs at all. WOOT!

Day 17 of Flowering

There are buds growing everywhere now. They are both sitting at 28". The smallest one is sitting at 9" an is starting to form a cola.

The 2 clones are holding on, starting to move towards the light.

The vegging room plant is beefing up. Stayed the same height. Cant wait to get that one in the vegging room. That will be my successful plant!!! The newest seedling just made its way out of the soil... Now just waiting for that one to finally hatch an start its journey

Thinking about my next grow, after the vegging room opens up... Thinking I might go with Cream Caramel, along with some 60 Day Wonder, and Raspberry Cough. I want a nice mix for the next batch, and some weight. Thinking of possibly sexing some of them. Could get interesting.

Day 18 of Flowering

They are looking gorgeous... thats all that needs to be said... beautiful white buds forming. I hope they all stay white. I have seen VERY FEW Big Bangs actually keep there white tones. :) hoping I have that one!!!!

The 2 flowering girls are doing amazing. No issues there.
The 3rd tiny girl (my personal) is still holding on strong!!!

1 of the fan leaves fell off... She was a biggum.

The vegging plant is almost ready for flowering room :)

so does that mean the veg room is gonna be available for the next cycle or are your going to employ two flower rooms with the first one full?

Bloom does not begin on day 1 of 12/12 flip. So don't start counting the days until after the 1st week or two.

I would consider day 18 from 12/12 1st wk on bloom on my plants.. that is just me though.

i made a post addressing that issue and i got plenty of replies, some made sense and quoted a period similar to ur mention of 18 days because it takes the plants that long to notice the change and show sex.on the contrary seed suppliers say to count from lights switching.honestly both seemed like credible theories so i count from the light switch, but i still use a magniscope on the trichs because either way there are tons of different factors to consider when thinking of what makes your plants mature sooner or later.environment and genes play a big role, and there can be deviations in both

well... said fuck it, rearranged the original flower room 2 run both lamps... so now we have 800watts of a combined MH/HPS setup. Ive seen alot of people talking about how there plants loved the 2 together... So I decided to do it.

I had to flush the 2 clones. They decided to be assholes an hermie on me... (think I strained them too hard)

Lets see what kind of progress this brings me

at least no more effort will be wasted undesirables, are u running your fixtures right next to each other?or on opposite sides of the grow space?im very intrigued at this concept cause i have my 400 mh,but theres also 2 150 hps i have put away that just need bulbs

Ive looked at different ways of doing it... But I have the HPS Above them, With the MH laying down (on heat safe items) Shining on them. That way they are all getting the same amount of light from the MH. I didnt want to have to constantly move the plants around every day. I upgraded the fans to help with heat issues. Also to cool off the MH. It has been running for 8 hours now... not 1 issue. The plants seem to actually like it.

I was doing alot of reading last night. And I think Im doing to start running MH and HPS at the same time. "Best of Both Worlds" type of ordeal. Since your breaking all around the light spectrum then. "More Natural" if you will to what the sun does.

Ill post a pic for you in a min

Terrycodone: Here she be... The HPS is throwing off my camera's picture like no other. Its evenly based color all around with the MH in there now. As you can see in the one corner with the newest biggest addition to the room, That plants corner is blinding with light lol. The HPS & MH have a massive Dish on them... It hits all areas of the plants.

(also dont mind the few items of clothes on the floor in there hahahaha. The holes in the pots decided to leak out on the floor. That was the closest item I had)

very nice tony,i really like how the lights falling on them, pic 4 is a sweet setup shot.i wanted to mimic natural sunlight as well so i have my 400 mh in the middle vert style, with 9xcfls(2700k) covering the canopy so ur setup is pretty similar except youve got some dank hps canopy action happenin.also those reflectors are badass! i love how easy it can be too cool mh's.theyre coming along beautifully man!
p.s. wooow i just realized wat u were sayin about the cothes on the floor,i do the EXACT same thing, theres never a dirty towe when you need it!

lol the reflectors are just some cardboard boxes I had from moving, then I went to the grow shop for reflector. They definitely are no works of art hahaha! But they do reflect light like no other. Wish my camera would catch that...

Its definitely a cheap setup I created... But I came in with the theory of, if I lose some of the plants... Atleast I can have 1 or so to cover my costs.

Im just hoping with the MH in the room it gives me more yield for all the effort Ive been putting in for this 1st timer. Definitely been a fun experience

well theres no doubt you have the right attitude and with that the activity of taking care of and nourishing the girls can be as rewarding as harvesting, and im not even gonna get into the ramshackle construction of my area.ive been using my 400 mh for my last 3 cycles and honestly i think the type of grow medium i used had more affect on the yield than the light, from what ive grown ive noticed alot of what goes into harvest is the genes, and fert regimen.with your combo setup though i dont think you have too much to worry about considering yield you shoud clean up nice for a first grow.especially since your not overgrowing you room.
im sure the extra 40,000 or so lumens will give you the boost your seeking though
