The BioCanna Nutes and BioTerra "soil" thread

Yeah thats per gallon. I havent heard about not using cannazym in the last weeks. I definitely lessen the use of it in the last weeks. But how about reusing this soil?

Anyone had any experience with that? Of course a goooood soaking of double/triple dose cannazym on the recycled soil to get the rootball to break down some. I'm still not sure how the soil will work a second time. I will probly cut it with some hydroton and see how that works. Any ideas on that?

Also plan on an Ebb & Grow, lined with smart pots, Canna Coco! Bioterra and hydro canna coco, how could I go wrong?

Canna Bioterra soil really isnt cheap at all. When you filling 7 gallon pots, and its 22-25 dollars a bag. Thats less than 2 plants a bag. It starts to get up there in price when your doing more than a couple. I'm ganna give the soil I used for this grow for the next one. I might cut it half old/half new soil and some hydroton on perlite.

Can't get BioTerra soil anymore, my guy says the source for it ran out, so now I need to find or better yet make a suitable replacement...I was thinking part recycled BioTerra from the last grow, part cheap organic potting soil, with bat guano and worm castings mixed in accordingly. Or I could just try Fox Farms, but that might fuck things up with the Canna nutes which I plan to continue using, at least partly, with BMO's line. Any ideas?

yeah get away from cana.. I was a fan, I ran their bio terra but!: 1.) they stopped supplying it because batches "allegedly" had bugs, fruit gnats, ROOT gnats, and some accounts of winged rooted aphids 2.) they stopped carrying it and told no one untill the product was MIA on the shelves 3.) no word on their site about the shit even existing anymore and to boot 4.) the TP (purple dirt) is also going in short supply, with no word on why or when it will be back..

they are shiesters..

EFF! Bio Terra Plus is gone from shelves, and I have no answer as to when it will be back. They did have gnats, for sure. But the BioCanna nutes and the Terra Plus was the best soil-food combo ever. Pricey, but for pure medicine, well worth it.

Sheisters...possibly. The Bio line used to specifically say to use the terra plus, but now that it is not available they changed the label. Lame.

The -zymes: yeah, cut em out at the end because they have a slight nutrient charge. I don't believe in reusing terra plus for any high yield garden situation, but add it to the garden bed outside.

Overfeeding: when running a CO2 system overfeeding is needed, especially N and P. I supplement N-P-K as needed throughout.

PK13-14 is not organic at all. Humbolt nutes natural bloom is 0-10-0, and technaflora soluble seaweed is 1-1-16. Other vegan options exist as well like natures nectars.

Perlite: I've run bio terra plus straight out of the bag and had great results. I have no doubt perlite would speed the wet/dry cycle, but prefer to keep my garden all natural.

BioBoost: is the shizle. I too believe it cuts the flower cycle significantly. Pricey for sure.

When running BioCanna in other soils (happy frog, ocean forest, ect) feed heavy and watch your pH.

Any veganauts out there having success with other media? I'm about to try CocoNot, a redwood bark product.

If you grow your own medicine is BioCanna line good? Biocanna is working for me. It needs extra cal mag and extra micros. Use the veg formula with the flower, well into flower

First real post here, and first grow using the biocanna line. Terra plus in 7 gal smart pots, dump it on and grin is my new slogan. Using the full line by the schedule along with pk 13/14 will give roughly 4000 ppm! This scares the shot out of me then i find an article talking about willards plant cataylst and how common it is to be in the 3 to 4000 range.

I use willards at every watering thru the grow and dont reduce nute amount even though they say i can cut it back quite a bit. No burn just euphoric fragrance and beautiful plants!
