Thanks buddy! I do put a lot of time into it. I’m already excited to get the next one going. Going for more small plants this next grow. These bigger ones make for a lot of work late flower. I have plants leaning and falling on each other and buds flopping everywhere lol.

I dont have an opinion on these boards, ive never seen them up aagainst something that i know what it does.
My general advice for a flowering light would be using 2700k 90 cri white diodes. Meiju can do this with lm561c (moq apply) and last time i checked with kingbrite they had some 3000k90cri lm301b's which is very close. Both spectrums give a nice red peak around 630nm (instead of 600) which means that all red levels, including 660 and far red are a bit higher.
UV and IR (in this case it should probably be mentioned its really far red 730ish nm not 850 nm) are definitely help full but i wouldnt put it on the same channel as my main white light.
From what ive seen in recent flowering sidebysides: i think its preferable to make sure your basic white spectrum is as far pushed towards reds/far reds. Id rather add a llittle blue in vegg than having to add on loads of red iin flower. Why? Well it seems cheaper to add blue, also blue diodes are much better at operating efficiently when theyre a bit hot. And since the white diodes are also blue in its base light means they also work better with higher operation temps.
And simply by having seen it. High cri 2700k beat the shit out of the rest in our own tests and what ive seen around (im basicly talking about @Prawn Connery s high light boards).

Thanks for the info, Rocket. I know it's early for these boards... I'm not sure anyone has gotten to harvest with them yet, but I did like the switch (which I believe is for just the LG UVs) on that Kingbrite. I'm going to take your advice into consideration as I continue to dive down the rabbit hole of light choices lol.
This 4x4 is going to be a full cycle tent, so I'm still trying to figure out what spectrum to use (3000k or 3500k). But I appreciate any info I can get, especially from those who've done side by sides. Thanks again!

Not those type of kb boards but something similar.....
R2T Alibaba 'Disco' boards.
Uva, white, red, far red all on the one channel.
I've been flowering with these for nearly a year now and they work well.
I can't see any problem using the kb boards with the reds + uva, it's only 385nm. Even for vegging.
It's the uvb that would need a separate channel if anyone had reliable cost,effective uvb leds

Thanks, Mofo! Meijiu doesn't seem to have a switch for UV, so I worried about the effects of it running full time. I'm still waiting to hear back from Vicky at KB about what diodes are even on the switch. Per Rocketsoul's suggestion, I asked about higher CRI options (not that I'll ever verify them, but never hurts to ask haha).
The Meijiu Fluence knockoffs (Majo v4) sound tempting, but I'm not sure I wanna be the guinea pig lol. Also not sure if CO2 supplementation is even an option rn.

I found the folux board to be a really good deal and it flowers very well. It cost me around 265 all in to the door in Canadian dollars (duty and shipping).
I wanted to add they come almost completely assembled. You put two wires in two wire holders and thats about it. Comes with hangers too and a little screwdriver to adjust it. Some might be worried about it being a kit but it is simple.

Now that I got to up the 80s of this thread, I see some of my questions were discussed lol. Got me looking at these Bavas with CRI90 ratings and 2700k+4000k spectrum (https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/Full-Spectrum-LED-Plant-Grow-Light_62062346406.html?spm=a2700.12714957.0.0.71f67a31LpMR6J). Not sure how this would play out with a full cycle grow, but I like the sound of it.
Bava also has a newer model with UV and IR switches, but rated at CRI80. Trying to see if they'll put the switches on the model I linked. Guy also told me that the 80s "tested at 90" lol.

i bought two of the ones i asked about in the thread earlier.three board 3500k with uv and far red from kingbrite.320 watts per light.way easier than my cxb 3590 lights i built a few years ago .connect two wires and mount the driver to the back of the heat sink.came with eye hooks to hang and four hangers and all screws and nuts needed plus a dimmer already hooked up to driver.578 delivered

The fixture might test at 90cri due to the added red, but it seems like the white diodes are 80 cri, they peak around 600 and not 630nm. Sorry for knitpicking ;p . My suggestion is going with phosphors that generate more red; the 90cri phospohors do this but you can also generally get to 90 cri by adding some extra red diodes, but this doesnt give equal results

Would HLG's offerings use 90 cri whites? I'm still entertaining just going with a kit from them and just paying the extra $120 per 240w light...

Ive seen some around but i think they were custom ordered, never actually seen them for sale. The HLG kits, especially the r-spec should also work really nice. Add a little far red and you have something very similar.

in a few days or so i will show some photos of my designed in china panel lights and the "penetration issue"that comes up
..they are tall..sativa dominant ..and the buds three feet down look awesome
using 3000 k and 5000k leds and you will also see how well 5000 k does everything too
i am excited to try these plants
