It's not that they are bad clubs. That's just how the game is played. Some of them have good values and fair pricing. But business is business. If they have something that isn't selling, they switch the name/price. That's just how it's done. They aren't going to eat the cost of the pack.

i dont know any clubs that do that and from my experience, if they cant sell something they drop the price.. EX.-if they had two strains and were having a hard time selling both of those for 16-17 a gram they would make a special like buy one gram get the other half off or maybe 2grams for $25...dont get me wrong tho im not really disagreeing with u, there are shady clubs out there that probably do what ur talking about but i've yet to experience it but take in mind i dont go to the co-op's unless im gettting HOOKED UP..i'll go in there and walk out with nothing if im not getting hooked up

That's right! My dispensary hooks us up ALL the time!!! There's about 30 of them getting ready to skydive @ a discounted price and the club picked up the tab for a couple guys who couldn't afford it. Our sacks ALWAYS weigh heavy, like .5, .7g. The wax and oil is awesome and there's ALWAYS some special running. On bud anyways. $10g's for ALL top shelf. No bud in the house more than $10/g and SOME at $5/g. BBQ's several times a week during summer that are completely free. The members that live close to the club go there, spend money on bud that they WOULD'VE had to spend on dinner, and eat great food for free while smoking the hell outta the wax. GREAT group of people.

hey budlover you from SJ to?? where do u go?? med ex or that place in the eastridge mall shopping center?? i personally could get top shelf from the streets or straight from the growers so i never really buy at co-ops unless its a Special deal day, like at eko fresh i buy a gram of earwax or hash then i get a free gram with any purchase..i do that every now and then but it's cheaper on the streets and tax free

I go to Buds4Life in Fresno. I'm in the Central Valley. Yeah, I grow my own smoke, but I am just starting to learn to make wax(got a fellow member that just took a "class" and is willing to show me). I DO get bud there though just b/c they have SOOooo many strains. That's how I found out about Black Jesus. But MOSTLY, I go up there to hang out with the members and put our heads together. They make it REALLY feel like family. If you're EVER in the area, check 'em out. I plan on checking out the Bay Area, time and money permitting.

You can check 'em out online if you want. Just add .com after their name. Great online menu, delivery, curb-side pick-up, and a fairly small but friendly forum.

I forgot to address the strain! LOL!
It IS Black Domina, but idk if it's a God's Gift cross or not. I'll be doing some more research. I googled it and really didn't find anything so idk if it is a new local strain or the "renamed" strains that hit the clubs sometimes. I trust my club, but idk their vendors.

Dude, if people buy high priced shit at the dispensaries why is the business owner to blame? Mmj is just the mainstream "black market". There have been growers and dealers long before mmj. Mmj is just the avenue for people who want to turn that "black market" into a reputable business.

The prevailing local theory for why many dispensaries hold street prices is so you can't go in, buy an oz, and turn around and make a profit. Reasonable, imho.

that just goes for some of the co-ops..some co-op's will sell u quarter pounds and some wont..i know a club that will let u mix a match any strain they have in stock to make a quarter pound and charge u $950..i would never pay that now cuz i can get top shelf quality off the street for no more then $850 but 2-3years ago i would have been all over that

B/c mine(i don't own it, just a member) sells $10/g's and it's then "Dispensary Bud", I'm sure there's some turn-around for some members. But that's on them, not me or the club. B4L just tries to make meds affordable and comfortable.

$950 a qp? Wow! mine has it between $567 & $950. Outdoor Tornado mix(a little bit of everything) or top shelf. So I guess $950 isn't bad if it's good bud. (Sorry, started post then used calculator)

im in cali so yea its some GOOD shit..they got cheap shit to but i thought we were talking quality..thats all i fuk with but yea were in 2 totally different spots so its ganna be a little different

Yeah. Central Cali here. And agreed. They have everything from good outdoor to high-quality indoor. And then everything else. Just depends on finances. For ME, I stick to the top-shelf since it IS my medicine.

The problem with strain names is that once someone gets some bud that is poorly grown, they think it's just a bad strain. Most strains can be either fantastic or crap depending on how they're grown. The average customer at a club is going to have a hard time making that distinction. That's why clubs play the name game.

People literally go into dispensaries only interested in buying the highest price thing they can. Not just a couple of people, a lot of them, maybe a majority. Many of the most successful clubs have realized that they'll actually sell out of a product faster if they raise the price than if they lower the price. Raising the prices to sell a product faster would make no sense in most businesses, but when people come in and only consider buying the most expensive thing on the menu, it works.
