Typical GOP talking points. But far from the only solution. I am a big believer in tort reform and would have liked to seen it implemented WITH the public option. But tell me something. Tell me exactly how only tort reform and buying insurance across state lines would help a man who got laid off therefor losing his insurance and just found out he has a brain tumor. No insurance company is going to touch him and no amount of tort reform is gonna fix that.
Also for buying across state lines. You can pretty much already do it. Most insurance companies just open a subsidiary to follow that states insurance guidelines. The federal government overriding state guidelines would be trampling all over states rights wouldnt it? I thought you conservatives believed in states rights?
