Hot bottle for sure.
I cant work without oven mitt ON!
When I can handle the bottle without the gloves, this is the sign to boil some water and refill with hotness.

Here are my rolled ones.
160 - 73 - 45+25 - mix

1-P1010005.JPG 1-P1010011.JPG

I focused on the 73 and 45+25, the tiny 160 and the mix were not too much pressed.
My aim of 5gr was a good one.
Those 4 pieces give me 5.15 grams of promising product. From 52 grams of trims.
Ace of spades phenos rock for sure regarding hash extract.
The resin is sticky as well as the cannoli.

And this is a dry sift ball, 0.5 gram, from my 00box

by drying some buds over this sift table, with no manual interference.

here is a very closer look:

happy pressing to you all

Hey guys just want to let you know that using washers will introduce some fine particules of plastic, and those bastards are even reaching the 73 microns ! The machine i use is a basecamp and i am not scraping the sides i make my own ice put a good amount of water i think the cold just deteriorate the shitty plastic made in china.
take a look at that Image518.jpg Image521.jpg Image522.jpg

Happy 4th Cannoli Rollers!!
^^^

” The Cannoli Rollers”
Pretty cool name, for this thread, eh?

(Rollitup). :)

Anywho, bad puns aside..

I wanted to share these pics.
Frenchy; The following pics seem to validate your hypothesis of ruptured resin glands ” cleaning itself” by pressing with heat + extra long cure/age.

This is one of the Temple Balls I posted some pages back.

Trying to recover from my latest surgery, production has been halted until I'm able to bubble again.

So, I was curious to see what progress has been made.
This has been cured/aged for 6 weeks, after pressing.

*I wanted to wait 12 weeks before opening the ball, alas, my curiosity got the best of me.*

Pics...
(please click smaller images for full resolution)

Note how the center has developed a ” creamy” texture, this cream melts away with almost no residue.

While the outer layer, that is not creamy still melts away, and bubbles nicely, it leaves more ash/residue behind.

The cream seemed to develop in the middle and work it's way outwards, theoretically, if I'd waited the 12 weeks the whole ball would be creamy inside.

Obviously, this is not proof positive, but it certainly gives us a perspective of what is occurring within the mass of ruptured resin glands.

I hope this is of some use to your mission in proving your method actually cleans itself during the cure.

Respect the resin.

You are right, I pressed after only 1 week cure time.

I think I was playing around with, different methods at the time, like cure loose resin, then press vs. press as soon as it was dry enough.

One of these balls was aged 6weeks, before pressing. Can't wait till I pop that one open.

:)

I would as well but in any case the longer you wait the tastier it would be

It is the first time that I see the 9 pounder resin, looks OUH LA LA Hyroot.
Let us know how it smokes.
Kritobal this is really scary, smoking Chinese plastic is not on my bucket list. I have never seen that, what is the brand?

i didn t cure enough. tastes great . afghanni kush flavor. I took it to the kush expo and everone there was dabbing bho. I was the only one with ice water hash / wax and it blew them all away. A few asked how to make it...

Hopefully I will be able to make it to Chalice.. I just learned about it yesterday.

French cannoli, the machine i use is a basecamp.
I really hope that people doing extraction and selling to clubs try to find a better machine, personally the only one i want to use is 800 bucks beside that i am just gonna use my kitchen aid plus woodspoon in it, i can process less but i know their is no plastic !
peace

I've been seriously considering rigging up the wife's KitchenAid Standing Mixer for the same purpose.

Tough part, I bought it for her for Christmas a few years back, it was damn near 500$ and I'd be in the dog house for a looonngg time if I were to mess it up.

She loves that thing, maybe more than me.. Lol

ahah i take it at my mother in law while she is gone and it always work good for me, a little small and it can be messy if you put the wrong speed ( always stay on low ! ) but it is really easy to clean and its foodproof !

Kristobal would you post a pic of your machine, i do not know the brand and i am verity curious. Boldtbags machine is food grade plastic and i can't see where it could loose pieces like you show in your pics. Which part of the machine does it comes???
May be I should do more than talk about a lab type ice water sieve machine, metal and glass.

i sure can frenchy, here is a pic ;
412+yFiXVAL._SY300_.jpg the color of the plastic in my bubble is light blue..guess were it come from !Ii have to microscope each piece before smoking.. i just think that micro particules brake down while the machine is turning, from the cold and the friction of the ice plus plant material on the plastic..it is really tiny pieces but still make me sick to think about my vacuum seal 30 gram slab curing with some plastic in it..
I saw a stainless steel machine online cant find it now but it seems great, screen inside the machine already the only down side were the size (pretty small) and the price (800 + dollars) it is made in canada.
What about this dry sieve extraction ? any pics ?
peace

Try running your machine with just water and ice and strain it through your bags again too see if you still see the plastic, it could just be from when it was put together the edges of the plastic weren't smooth so if you didn't wash the machine out real good before you used it you could get the small plastic particles. I would just look over the inside real good and run it a few times without the weed and maybe some iso :) don't give up and its true what they always say you get what you pay for :)
