Just an fyi, there is an auto competition starting soon if anyone wants in on it. It has very limited rules, almost no rules at all for soilless grow and 1 gallon pot restriction for soil grow. Basically 2 competitions in one. A soilless winner and a soil winner. Definitely NOT on par with Dawg's contests, but maybe something to pass the time.

I wouldnt rely on heisens autos you got. Try popping 1 or 2 and youll see theyll have horrible germination rates. Something he failed to tell us until after I had to mention it to him. Id go with quality autos like fast buds, mephisto, or dutch passion.

I agree, and have 2 seeds in rock wool right now. Mephisto is shut down until the 3rd. My plan is to order from mephisto as soon as they are open.

Edit, I an going to check out Dutch passion now. Good call.

Sweet Seeds also has a good reputation in terms of automatics. They have regs, fems, autos and so called fast versions. Their Jack Black and the Green Poison are 2 very popular strains here, yield pretty good and the smoke is pretty strong too..

My Amare light arrived finally and it's the top model, a SolarBar-8!
Actually it should be a SE300 but Victor surpriced me and steped up and offered me a SB-4. Two days later he contacted me again.... A SB-4 was not available in the HK warehouse so he asked me if it okay to send me a fecken SB-8.
Surprise, surprice!


Has taken a little longer cuz of the shitty customs clearance here but it finally has arrived last week.
Only 6 of 8 solar bars fit in my little cab but I'm really happy cuz it fits almost prefectly. Nice and even spread from wall to wall with 6-8" distance. Now its time to test it..

Can only show it switched off cuz the solarspec C model is still not no the market but I can tell ya, its a fecken bright pinkish flowering spectrum with lots of red, deep- and far-red. All LM301b top bins and latest Osram Oslon, deep-red could even be Oslon Square cuz of the 2 visible gold wires. Hard to say..

That are btw. no scratches on the backside. That are left overs from the manufacturing process and lots of finger prints. That's the down side with alli.. You see everthing! I'll clean them away with some iso.. No biggy..

Still havent even gotten mine. I think they forgot and I had to send them a message and they finally sent it out.

Yeah, the gap is for additional UVB.
Maybe I'll use 6 or 8 Seoulviosys 285nm diodes this time to build a 4w UVB light with ~60-65mW of UVB(280-290nm). In the pdf below they have used 285nm LED's only, no UVA, nothing else and they say with only 0,05w/m² radiated UVB(50mW) it needs only 2-3h to boost thc by ~30%.
With 6 diodes and a cheap e3ay driver(5x 1w) you can build it for around 100 bucks and if it works it also saves a lot of energy. Should pay off pretty fast...
They also say it can be used at night but I'll use it for the last 2-3 hours before the main lights switch off so I can still use a far-red trigger to put them in night mode.

If you're interested(and I think so) you can find the diodes I plan to use at digikey. Its the Seoulviosys TUD8MF1B which is a CUD8GF1B_R1.0 mounted on a copper PCB. Datasheet below..

What!?! I would contact them and ask what happend with your light. Victor has shipped my light at the 4th june and it arrived 2 days later. Without that 22 extra days of customs clearance it would have arrived ~3 weeks earlier.
Thought you would test it already, lol! Hope they'll ship it soon!!

Now a bunch a newbies are going to be sharing that tip as gospel in the newbie section leaving more work for those of us that like to help them.

I did have something I wanted to share about leaf drop although I haven't had time yet to test it.

My 2c opinion.
Only time I ever have heathy looking lower leaves drop off is when I use to high of a % of H202 to kill fungus gnat larvae in soil.
When not using H202 my leaves will hang on long after they dry up.
I was wondering if you are using H202 in your system if that could be playing a roll.

Just going to relax and try to beat my own record of 15 g's in soil.
