looking good growan. 6 days is a long time. they must have been thirsty.
I think its no harm to leave them alone for a few days aslong as they dont dry out.
It wasn't ideal to have to leave them, but it turned out ok.

Usually I give them 2 litres of water each every 4 days or so, whenever the pots get light. This time I gave them 2 litres with nutes then 2 days later another 2 litres of plain water which gave a couple of inches in the trays under the pots and soaked the soil properly. I was worried about drowning the roots but I figured largish plants would more likely dry out an 11 litre bucket before suffering oxygen deprivation.

As I turned out I waited another 12 hours after getting back before watering again. I still think I need to double my pot size at least next time.

It's nice to have people come to stay for a few days, but when you really want to get to cropping the garden you kind of start wishing they'd dissappear back to where they came from!

Hey man u at the knockin this wknd
No sadly not. We had the booking if we wanted it but I'm getting sick of paying massive pitch fees and coming away from a full weekend of work with hardly any profit. Now if the event won't take me on a percentage of takings they can have thier festival without me.
It's 25% or GTFO now. I'm playin' hardball. Cos I'm making a stand. Traders get a raw deal at festivals. Like we're just there to fill in the gaps in the security fencing and provide tents for punters to piss on when the toilets are overflowing with shit.
I'm as mad as hell and I'm not gonna take it any more!

That said, I'll be pissed off if you're there and I've missed a chance to meet up.

Shit. Missed opportunity there then.

I'm actually really disappointed now. Balls.

I wanted to use bigger pots this time round to see how much difference it would make to my yields.
Usually I use 11 b&q buckets or poly pots about the same size.
I didn't want to pay out for those fancy plastic pot things with the holes in or fabric pots so I thought I'd try and recycle some empty coal bags and see how it works out.

Each bag has roughly 30 litres of compost (just a mix of cheap general purpose from lidl, Homeland and the hardware shop) with a bit of perlite for luck.

If I wasn't restricted by height in the tent I might have put in up to 50 litres, the coal sacks are plenty big enough.

I recon 9 would fit nicely in this 4x4 tent under a 600w HPS. If these ones like the new pots maybe I'll go large for the next run with 9 40 litre coal bags.

Hey G. Looking good. You'll definitely increase yield over 11L pots . Fabric pots work well also because when a growing root meets the sack it generally won't circle the edges like a plastic pot although they can be a little more difficult to water properly.
Did you do the SFest? Any craic?
Defo doing a few next year
Yes, the air pruning thing has got to be a bonus. And you're right about the watering. One of the sacks has a couple of snags in the fabric and that's where the water seeps out. I'm impressed how the rest of the sack DOESN'T piss water out though. I'm feeding 2 litres of water per sack and leaving it to pretty much dry out before watering again.

Just took delivery of a 32 Floz (fuck knows- a litre?!?) of Dyna-Gro Foliage Pro today. All the way from Kentucky. It was about 13 quid and then 17 yo post it, but I recon it's still cheaper than anything I'd get in the grow shop in Galway. And it's a one bottle job if Uncle Ben and Homebrewer know anything. And I suspect they do....

Sunflower Fest was banging. I earned a good lump of Sterling and tripped on a 2cb to Dreadzone. And the kids were with their grandparents so we actually got to lie in past 7am for the first time in 5 years.

Well lads, does anyone here no about gaurds and searching your house.?

I live with my girlfiend in a mobile on her perants property, if they are let in to the garden by someone living in the main house can they search my mobile home without a search warrant.?

@Growan
Have you done much scrogin?
This'll be my 3rd. I rate it in a small tent. In fact, I scrogged my first 2 indoor grows and only changed because I had some regular seeds and didn't want to be pulling males out of a screen.

There are some pictures of my scrogs in the Scrog Club thread.

You know what the best thing about scrogging is? You get to really fuck about with the plants and play with them - no need to get drawn in to defoliation or other madness just to feel like you're getting involved

As I understand it a mobile home is technically classed as 'property' ie 'stuff' rather than an individual dwelling. IF I'm right about that, then I guess it would be classed as something within the permission given to search.

That made more sense before I wrote it. Good luck with the translation!
