No I use to use turbo tax before marriage business etc. But now my accountant does it so I truly don't no or can't give you a honest answer
I'm sure you make more than my husband if you own a business or two. Families around 30k get generous tax returns.

My dad manages teachers at a technical school and always owes a little each year. I don't believe he is making more than 60k tho. I'll have to ask.

But then you have business taxes to deal with.

Could you tell me what business you are in? I am curious to know.

True. They also listen to what their voters want as well so they don't get voted out of office.

What did you think of bernie pointing out Hillary's donar base?"
Their donors give them more campaign cash than all the 'average' voters put together. It's why our system is so screwed. Therefore, the calculation every politician makes is how far they can go to appease the public and still maintain their DONOR support.

I think it's about damned time people started hearing more about who actually owns their electoral process.

First off, the definition of rich is wrong. Nobody with an agi of 380-400K is rich! Reich actually got it right in his discussion about the .1, .01 %. The trouble is that there just isn't enough of the really fat guys to justify the rape of them alone. Really think about his justification for going after them ... "they've paid higher in the past", sounds fair to me.

I have to admit, I didn't watch past Reich.

Reich is pretty candid, in his "gobbledygook" way of saying, going after people with money is the only solution because fixing the problem is too damn hard so might as well do the feel good stuff. Even though I haven't had a chance to listen to Zandi, his introduction hinted that he now believes as much.

I will add, that if these guys were so damn smart they would be focused on a discussion about solving the fundamental problem, "lack luster economic growth" that unfortunately looks like it maybe the norm for a while.
But the fact is, in this political climate, it becomes a really difficult problem. Perhaps they discussed this later on in the debate. I'll have to watch it when I get some time.

Pie, I like your spirit. Hang in there.

Do you use turbo tax? It lists taxes paid in, your return or owed and effective tax rate.

Before we had our daughter we were at 3.5% effective tax rate I believe. Before getting our mortgage we were at 6% effective tax rate.

I just went and checked my records lol.

Turbo tax FTW!
I'm having a hard time believing you own your home and receive welfare.....

What are ya gonna do when Republicans wanna drug test you for it?

Still waiting to find out if you would abort baby Hitler...lol

I receive 100 dollars a month foodstamps for 3 people and health care for my daughter. That is all.

Max benefit for 3 people is 540 dollars.

I worked and saved every penny, got an fha loan where you only need 3.5% downpayment. Bought a home worth 100k for 70k because it was up for shortsale.

Why are you going on about baby hitler?

Gonna abort baby Hitler or not?.... Should be an easy question

A savings account disqualifies you for food stamps here.... And they drug test now..... Would you vote for welfare recipients to be drug tested?

How do I know the baby before me is hitler? How do I transport myself back in time?

Scared to answer?....

It's a Republican plan and the kinda nonsense you support
I am trying to understand the hypothetical you are giving me. If I see a baby and you say "this is hitler" it would be foolish of me to do anything without verifying that it is IN FACT hitler. Also it would be quite impossible to see actual hitler because I was not alive when he was gestating.

Also the doctor would not of known what the baby would grow up to do. The environment the child grows up in plays a huge role in what they are able to do.

Again, look up how Germany was after the first world war.

I do not support it. I know it may come as a shock to you but people can agree in some areas and disagree in other areas.

Um no. I am capable of having my own thought processes.

You don't think the question you are asking is rediculous?

Or your desire to eradicate over half the world's population?

Really think about his justification for going after them ... "they've paid higher in the past", sounds fair to me.
No, that was his justification for either Laffer or Hubbard's comment that raising higher taxes on the rich, Reich uses the period of time between 1950-1980, hinders economic prosperity. Taxes were at 91% at one point and the average economic growth was at 4%, 3x's higher than it is right now when taxes on the rich haven't been this low since before WW2

It is a myth to say that raising taxes on the rich hinders economic growth

Reich is pretty candid, in his "gobbledygook" way of saying, going after people with money is the only solution because fixing the problem is too damn hard so might as well do the feel good stuff.
Everyone on the stage agreed with two things during the debate - 1. we have to raise revenues and 2. we have to cut spending, liberal - conservative, that's not a political position to take, it's common sense. So where are those revenues going to come from? They have to come from the rich, the middle-class and/or the poor. We've already established that raising taxes on the rich does not negatively affect economic growth, and scientific studies prove that having a strong middle-class is the fastest way to grow an economy, so the logical, fair, common-sense solution is to increase the amount of taxes the most well-off people in society pay. The people, like you already said, that earn an income of over $380K/year, and the higher tax percentage they pay only applies to anything over that.

This is not an absurd or revolutionary thing to demand, it has worked this way successfully in our country during the period of the highest economic growth we've experienced.

The fundamental problem is that the poor and middle-class are burdened with the taxes necessary to collect to pay down the national debt. Laffer and Hubbard want to keep the car headed for the edge of the cliff, Reich and Zandi and everyone reasonable are saying maybe we should turn the wheel, try something we know works, and steer clear of imminent death..

So where do those revenues come from? We can't just cut spending all the way to a national debt free society, so whose taxes are you going to raise?

Christians are a little over thirty percent of the world not half (hammers) and I have much respect for Christians that live by it.... But there's not many... most of you are hypocrites that use your religion as a shield... An excuse to be shitty people because God forgives.... The rest are hopeless idiots scared to die........ And I never expressed any interest in killing thirty two percent of the world

It wouldn't even be a question if there weren't people dumb enough to say no

You were talking about Christians AND Muslims. That makes up over 50% of the world.

If you want to talk about ALL religion it is above 83% of the world.

Edit: It was herban not you who wished to eradicate them. My bad.
