Just as an idea: you might want to consider releasing jumping spiders in your grow room. I had some "flying critters" in my grow room and found a rather large jumping spider in the back of my tent that I could not catch so I left it alone. Within a week all of the "flying critters" were gone. Up to that point I was noticing small holes in some of my leaves and once the "flying critters" were gone, no more holes in my leaves...just an idea.

Thanks for mentioning the cockroaches. I had no idea that they would eat these plants. Not that I have a problem with roaches, (knock on wood), but that is great information.
Yeah bro, I never knew a cockroach could fuck up my plants but it happened. I cleaned the tent and killed the roach and got new soil for the first time in years so everything is clear. I will post pics of the seedlings for you tomorrow. Goodnight everyone

Update: day whatever...LOL

Took these yesterday......3 look nice 1 looks like it'll be there at the end and the slow twin got tall but still isn't forming bud properly.
Still I'll let her finish....Looks like they could fill in more then they they have been. Might just have to get out the good old mushroom juice and slap them with a 0-6-12 organic fert tea here soon......See if I can tighten them up some!

So, this far in what's your opinion on these autos? Would you as a grower be better off going 12/12 from seed on a photo period plant or is it worth the extra lights on time for the autos? Or is it more of a grow them in your mom room since the juice was on anyways and you have room kind of thing?

I would run photo's to 8 inch's and flip.....12/12 from seed is for those rotating gardens and someone with a shit ton of seeds to do any yield by SOG.

I really don't care for the structure of Auto's. To me they just don't appear very stable by my opinion......These were kind of "leggy" and I always kept them close to the lighting. I saw others with stupidly leggy pics in here.....Don't get how (or why) they did it to an auto....They aren't getting frosty very fast either......started some supplementing to help that along......Organic booster tea with Mg sulfate...Debating adding more S sources and cutting other K sources back so the K sulfate family can take their place for more S.

They don't want to preform....I'll attempt forcing them too! No guts ,, No glory!

I'm running these 18/6 in the veg room. There on a table with 2 (3ft) Lemon Cakes and GG#4's next to them under a 1K MH.

Thanks doc, good info, I've only ran 2 autos that I liked, both for different reasons, but both were overall not good plants if that makes sense? Barney's critical rapido had good untrained structure and solid buds, but lacked potency(did well for appetite, but not much else) and a THC bomb auto that grew tall with nice side branching and decent potency, but I wasn't a fan of flavor, it had a bad leaf to calyx ratio(imo) and totally my fault, but I grew it in a very hot time of year and couldn't get the fill out I wanted on the buds.

To be honest these seeds are not a good representation of what autos can do.

Dr. Whos plants looked real amateur though, must have been 4" between the nodes spacing, plants didn't seem to produce at all. I grew the same seeds and got decent yields but the plants atleast had colas and wasnt all fluff. My flowers were solid

A lot of the seeds had problems. Maybe a bad run or something. It happens from time to time. Mephistos others did extremely well.

If you follwed the comparative on the other forums were it was run simultaneously youd say the complete opposite, alot of stretchy and nute burn'd plants on this forum, while most other examples were pulling 1oz a plant easy. Which isnt a ton, but I didnt see many if any others give up on the grow like a few did here

1 oz per plant was easy peasy, my plants that were stunted, shocked from developing rot over basically over night(after transplanting from aero to dwc) then transplanted into coco and pulled that.... i was shooting for 4 oz a plant for the fact that if i cant hit 4 apiece, doesnt seem worth the space.

I do admit they look loose and fluffy! Should look better at this point...

This an organic run and it's a water only soil of lower NPK then I do for any photo. Auto\s are fussy. Should have run full strength soils!
I'm sad about the results too and am about to do some boosting!

2 plants are twins - 2 plants 1 seed. Far left, back and front plant. The front plant is the "runt" and will not preform for the damaged gene's from the twin embryo seed. Plant 2 from that is better but, not as good as the "normal" plants either - 1 plant was a full on genetic male! The last 3 are looking better then the others

I don't like auto's and haven't run any for over 5 years.....I won't be running any more, anytime soon either!

I was asked to run these and decided I would to help out.....Now their crowding my numbers as i'm getting my op back on it's feet and bringing patients back into the system.

I suppose I could have paid more attention to them. I guess my dislike of auto's may have tainted my attention to them....I really didn't want to baby them, just give them what they need and see what they would do...

Real quality and yield lies within photo's......To ME, auto's are a waste of time....

Seen my GG#4 photo plant shots? That's growing and this is playing with inferior genetic strains..

I did my oz a plant with dollar store cfls, only upgrading for HPS for the last bit.

Nice for an auto!

I'll still get them to fill out and dense up.....the 3 good one's anyway......The dual embryo plants are shit!

Here you go,,,,,,,Photo, GG#4 Full on high nutrition water only soil - higher N that it should have been but, the source of the cut was impressed with what I did with it.

You can keep your auto's !

I like the minimalist CFL thing!

Anyway, I just got home from my sisters and went out to water.....Seem's that I'm on track to catch up to your density and budding size.....Boosted the K and dropped the P down as for a last 3 week push to finish. 3 days from the last pics and they're bulking nicely.....Calyx's are not hardly forming,,,so, I'll get there at the finish.....and yeah, I got a little miffed at the "real amateur" statement. I still got over 2 weeks to go so, pardon me if I came back kinda strong.....

High everyone! I just snapped some pics of my current project and thought that I would share them. The pic with the two plants side-by-side shows the Skywalker on the left and my C99x on the right. All of the others are exclusively the Skywalker. My Skywalker has one more week of flowering and then flush according to the schedule. Despite the problems that I have had, I have to say that when I open my tent anymore, I get a little paranoid because the smell from the Skywalker is really intense. Once the tent is closed there is no smell, just when the tent is open. Moreover, I was reluctant to participate in this comparative because the market here is just saturated with Skywalker strains but now I am really glad that I did this because I think that what I may end up with is much better than what I can buy anywhere in my neck of cyberspace! My cut of this Skywalker "smokes" anything that any of my friends have come across in this very same strain! Super fantastic job and top notch quality! Kudos again to The Vault for putting this comparative together and especially to Mephisto for supplying such a incredible strain!

Thanks for looking! Any and all comments and criticisms would be very much appreciated!

Y'all have a great day!

Well, for the 5 plants left. They have filled out nicely. Even the 2 twins have bulked up ok. They still will have a week longer to run the the "normal" 3. Say a week at the most to go for those. Little bit of bulking to go but, all cloudy ......
20170109_153229.jpg 20170109_153208.jpg20170109_153157.jpg
I should have simply let them run but got flustered by Morriston's comment and I shot a booster of 5-12-5 Age Old Bloom on them. They got a cpl of shots of magic mushroom juice. That's a 0-0-6 cause I like the high K better. I can see some K influence, bet I would have more with lower night temps.....Anyway the high P made them start to yellow but, it more or less stopped....Still wish I hadn't a done that....2 on the left are still the twins....

Any way, there they are with a week, maybe a cpl days longer to go...

Will post at harvest 1 and again at harvest 2 (for the twins). Let them dry and post weights! They look pretty much "zippy" to me.

Later kiddies.

Looking healthy doc, you got those gals to stack up quite nicely, I just think that's about all these plants can do, none of them really got "big" but few autos do in my experience, I still think autos are best left to outdoors and only to be ran indoors as "extra"stash, even the zips grown on these particular autos look like an ass pain for the trimmer, lots of sugar leaves in those calyxs, nothing any of the growers did, just seems to be a trait in several autos I've seen and ran
