ok i sugested this along time ago
and i still think that this may be possible

heres my idea ok take a plant that is going into flowering
and mix flavored water into there normal batch by like 1/8 of there water is the flavored

and over time use more and more and make sure its all natural and contains little sugar

this is soemthign im gonna find out if i can find a way to make some grape tasting weed through this method then im sure many would love to have it

for thos who want to try this urself and if ur gonna post plz tell me im interested in watching it

i knwo i cant go forward on this idea wit out tons more research
and i prbly dont sound too smart but if i dont try it it cant be invented as a way can it for those that wanna tell me aboput it

Sounds like a good idea.Grow couple plants of the same strain and give 1 the flavored water so you can tell the difference.also do it from claim

Lol sounds like it probably has been tried before. I remember when I was new to toking herb my friend convinced me that blueberry weed got the taste because they would grow the plant intertwined with a blueberry bush, Doh!

well i just wanna see what sorta method will work so im going to do this on a mass scale
many plants many flavors many different types u get the idea
but i gotta wait for a little bit till i get my new house

no no and no..but it will add sugar/carbs that you will need

i wish it could start right this second
but i dont have the place to do it all sadly
i know one thing if marijuana becomes legal ill start a mass product grow immidietly and sell to goverment

When i was in collage we tried mouth wash in the bong.....ya didnt do that agian.....lol

its not going to work. not trying to hate, but just not going to happen. as far as the botanicare sweet along with many other brands with the same selling points almost false advertising. The citrus one out of the 4 from botanicare is the only one with sugars even in it. the rest are just as it says MINERAL SUPP. with the right amount of sugars and minerals you will get the full potential of the plants flavor is what it should say. the picture is just showing the plants it could help get the most flavor it should have.

Ive often wondered where has all these smells and flavors come from, even though i dont know the answer to that question im going to go out on a limb and say its not the plants natural smell or taste in some or most new cases..Now i remember smoking great bud way back from original columbian gold to the wonderful thai bud or (stick) up into the 80s with the original humbult county skunk..now albeit all of these weeds tasted different as well as smelled different none of the were of the charts fruity by any means,as a matter of fact i dont remember any fruity weed then..So where all of a sudden did all of the fruity shit come from ? i believer there is a way to infuse weed with not only taste but smell as well..So i welcome all experiments that try to get to the bottom of this..I may do my own as ive also heard about real 100% extract like vanilla lemon strawberry that you use for baking, maybe i'll try this with 2 of the same strain..Peace

Well I think anything the plant takes in through the roots gets broken down before it enters the plant at that point it wont really contain a flavor no longer. Maybe some kind of flavored folar feeding throughout veg and a few weeks into flower thats what I think will have the best results along with proper nutes and what not. Just throwing another idea out there if your intial plan don't work bro. I wanna see how it turns out for you. I'll prolly give it a try when I get my case finished up.

Do what I do, vase them for twenty-four hours in RO water after you cut the roots off.

You want to keep in mind that the chemical changes that things go through before being used by the plant typically will counteract any flavor you try to get. For instance, many people grow with manure based ferts, but the end product doesn't taste like shit, or hay or anything like that. You can color weed, but again, the coloring has to be directly soluble.

I think your results will depend a lot on what substance you use, and good chance most things with flavor are broken down...

I think the idea of doing this as a foliar feed has some merrit.

Anyway, good luck, though it's been done before, I'm still interested in seeing your results

Oh and also, to the person asking about bud flavor, there are incredible variations in taste due to strain. Like thousands of them. Even the same strain grown by two different people can have quite different tastes, and a lot of the flavors you might be used to are brought out in cure. I would feel pretty safe saying the VAST majority of growers do not attempt to flavor their buds.
