Transplated seedling.. root ball was not as complete as i thought...Help

I just transplanted a seedling, and there was no root ball at all. By looking at the size of the plant I thought there definitely would be a nice one already formed.. Anyways all the dirt broke up I got it mostly in, in time. But the top part of the root was exposed and I pushed it down (didn't break it) and quickly covered the part of root and end of stem and stabilized the plant with dirt so it would be solid, and stand up straight... Is this going to kill my seedling? I hope everything is going to be ok...

Yo should be alright if there were a few nice thick roots and not a load of spidery thin things.

Dont panic and DONT over water it, give it a light misting once in a while im sure it will perk up
