Heh, glad to hear that I'm not the only one to do that...my GF found me in the kitchen rubbing ice cream all over my wedding tackle and moaning in relief, she thought it was something else of course...nasty suspicious mind that woman had.

Have you done the 'grind up dried chiles indoors and get nuked when you open the grinder' routine yet? That's always good for a laugh...well, you won't be laughing, but everyone else will be. You will be busy producing enormous amounts of mucous and tears and trying to remember how to breathe...

Oh yeah, if there is a damnfool stupidly painful mistake related to chiles, I've done it. Even ended up with some in my ear canals...you don't want to know, trust me.
Oh yes, have done that as well. I use a motar and pestle and as im grinding, it always gets up my nose...AHHH IT BURNS hahaha!

Too funny about your misses finding you with the ice cream

One day i thought it would be a great idea to blend them down with a hand held blender instead of chopping them.. i assume i now know what it's like to get pepper sprayed.
Haha Puff, i know said feeling :( im yet to find a way of blending everything down without getting nailed by the fumes. I dunno if its because i used to be a chef or not...but why the hell is it human instinct to smell the god damn chilli mix when we know its going to burn :O

And nothing goes better in a hot pepper dish than the flavor of a sweet pepper. IMO the Sweet Cubanelle is at the front of the line. Easy keeper and just a plain dandy and a mass producer, prolific even.....

Me and a few mates paid another mate $50 to eat 2 ghost chillis. The poor dude started hallucinating at about 40mins. He went through just over 4 liters of milk too. God damn it was funny to watch

Looking good puff, going very strong!

Do you feed them with seaweed solution or anything like that? I sprinkle some cow manure on top and then water once a week with seaweed solution. Then once they start to flower i hit them with potash and some organic flowering nutes! Seems to work a treat hey!

Thanks man.I'm using biobizz Grow just at the min.I have only watered it twice since it went in to this pot.First time just water and the second time i put 1 ml of grow per/litre.It didnt take a litre but thats the ratio i fed it at.

That was last week and the soil still isn't dry,so it's not a heavy drinker at all.Got some roots poking out the bottem of the pot now to,so might wait for a few more leaf sets and transplant it into it's next pot.

I'll be going with bio bloom for flowering.I'll be taking your tip on using potash ,but where do i obtain potash?

Sweet as dude, the grow formula will keep it very happy!! It's looking nice and healthy mate!

You should be able to get sulfate of potash from your local garden store or hardware store if they have a garden section. A 1kg bag costs me $6 or something like that...cheap as for a product that really helps the fruit. You only give to the plant when it starts to flower, til then just nutes once a week or once a fortnight if its not drinking much :D

edit- should read other posts before replying lol. Alex Supertramp is on the money :)
