Tutorial to Growing with Cfl's

hahaha probly is..... i heard about a caffeine anon but idk if its legit...... well im stuck using extreme stealth due to nosy roommates.... but when i get my own place ill deck it out but for now.... i cant produce but a few oz inside..... but!! theres outdoor soon!!

Can you do an sog? With the right plants it's relatively easy.. Try the auto dwarfs...my next. On size I know what you mean..I figured if I was able to grow what I want I'd need a ware house. On the History channel there's a show called Marijuans Nation. In Canada there's a guy licenced to grow, that has 3 40ftx 80ft warehouses to grow in.. now get this..for 3 people!! Mlore like 300!!

Yeah I also don't get it, why only 3, unless he smokes like a pound per day, well eats it accualy, with his cookies and stuff

damnnn.... i have to set my shit up in my house and two other friends houses to get things done its fucking rediculous

He must have GREAT pr person!*s* Actually that's what he does..steams the bud to remove the oils, then makes that into a butter, then uses that to cook with. Still a mite excessive..though I'd like to have his set up!

Thanks...this helps a lot...but is there that much of a difference in the size of your crop? I've been told that CFL doesn't give you the same amount as HID.

you need more cfls many more...... but its doable.......ive seen a grow with over 1000 actual watts of cfls that ended up like 2 g per watt so thats pretty impressive standard HID grows a gram per watt

Well I just harvested 6 DP's at 14 in high and I got just shy of 7oz. Just my opinion..My WW that I have now should give me at least 8oz. or more..in about 1/2 a square yard. The biggest reasons I use CFL are heat and electric cost Here we pay the second highest cost for e. as for heat my post up tells that story.
There are many threads here bout CFL and the successes I think maybe others don't want to see the advantages. At some point I'm going to build an LED cabinet.
Yes my system cost a bunch1300.00 complete,BUT
To each their own, it's what ever one feels comfortable with. I've saved more than that on my electric bill.

hey! i am trying to get my second attempt on this and i bought 2 55 watt 5000k full spectrum cfls and 4 23 wattcfl that are 2700k so 212 watts and 28800k in a 2x2x3 sealed box....is this going to work or do i need more lights?

That should work fine, though I'd add mylar wall covering, I've found it helps greaty.*s*

so what wattage is the best for veg state and flowering phase using CFL's

I start mine under about 40-80 for the first week, then up to ..well my sprout room has 5 125w 6500K CFL's. It's 4.5ftx 2ft 2 shelves with a 4ft 2 bulb flourox2 then the 5 on the next shelf up.

I have 2 42w(blue specs) keeping my 5 week old (GC) green crack plant alive!...they work perfect!

i have orderd my aerogarden pro200 a couple days ago and it should be here soon, i was planning on setting up a cabnet with a couple more cfls..

i was wondering if i should purchase 1 or 2 150w hps bulbs from home depot for the flowering stage..

and suggestions

how many plants how big a cabinet.... in most cases one would be plenty

thats a somewhat useless spectrum just buy the 2700k steall em if you have to but TRY to get something below 3000k
