to cool them. you have to ventilate the lights, and you have to ventilate the room. its either run it like that, or run two separate systems in the same space
I run 1 ks wide open no cooling needed, long as room is maintained an blowing thur lights is not the way to go I can c pulling thur lights in a sealed set up.like I said I must be missing somethingto cool them. you have to ventilate the lights, and you have to ventilate the room. its either run it like that, or run two separate systems in the same space
How are you maintaining your room temps? How are you exchanging air in your room?I run 1 ks wide open no cooling needed, long as room is maintained an blowing thur lights is not the way to go I can c pulling thur lights in a sealed set up.like I said I must be missing something
The way I drew the diagram Im filtering smell, force exchanging the entire rooms air, controlling temps, cooling hoods and exhausting all in 1 action....and all with 1 fan that only kicks on when it needs to.I don't no seems u could hard pipe straight out fan-filter in same place, why blow thur lights at all?
yes exchang,i grow in out building have large veg in what I call lung room, then a 8x12 flower room that I vent out all open hoods 3k in flower room,in maine by the way 10 degree outside now 75 in building 40rh no added heat.just don't c the advantage of opp running all that duct unless he plans to seal it up an run ac but its not even plumbed to do that?trying to blow thur 4 hoods an 4 90s an 25 -30 ft of duct just don't make mustardHow are you maintaining your room temps? Thumper do you mind throwing out some pics of your setup?yes exchang,i grow in out building have large veg in what I call lung room, then a 8x12 flower room that I vent out all open hoods 3k in flower room,in maine by the way 10 degree outside now 75 in building 40rh no added heat.just don't c the advantage of opp running all that duct unless he plans to seal it up an run ac but its not even plumbed to do that?trying to blow thur 4 hoods an 4 90s an 25 -30 ft of duct just don't make mustard
not good at drawing shit up just don't c reason to duct those lights up just maintain room, hardpipe the fan-filter so its pulling from back corner straight out, if u plan on running in summer with ac then duct it all up, but pull don't push inlines pull lot better than push.glad I don't have to run filters anymore all legal, but ya I run 1ks with same headspace u have ,I don't like to bend over tending any more lolThumper do you mind throwing out some pics of your setup?
if you dont mind drilling the hoods you can tap holes in them and screw your hoods right to the ceiling ( using washers in the hood )Well now I am trying to figure out the best way to hang my lighting, and from what and from where. Thought about just using a 2x4 across the celing with concrete screws anchoring it in, then screwing heavy duty eye hooks into the 2x4s.. But those damn hoods are tall and bulky and I need to figure out a way to hang them without using the hooks that they usually hang from that' attached from the string to the top of the the hood, that alone takes up 4 to 6 inches of usable space.
Anyone have any ideas?
This is an excellent idea, but would really like to find a way to do this as close as possible where the hoods are still adjustable to the canopy of the plants.if you dont mind drilling the hoods you can tap holes in them and screw your hoods right to the ceiling ( using washers in the hood )
u r going to learn how to grow short bushy plants lol I have same headspace 30 day veg with 4-5topping 3 gal pots plenty of room when I start flower I have about 2ft of ajustmentThis is an excellent idea, but would really like to find a way to do this as close as possible where the hoods are still adjustable to the canopy of the plants.

Hey Red, I found this on the Titan Controls website...Im no help on the controller, but how can you use the 120V ballast cords as 240? They arent the same gauge wire and the plug ends are completely different?
What kind of ballasts are you using? Ususally on the magnetic ballasts, there are 2 plug openings -one for each rated voltage input (120/240). They make a totally different plug for the 240V.
this is what u want 3 weeks old 6 ins tall 14 tops on it, few mor days into flower roomI have always grown short plants anyway thumper.. I am used to having minimum headspace, topping, LST... Back pain through the entire process.. I have been growing short bushy plants for as long as I can remember, I have grown several pure landrace sativas with insane vine like growth shooting to the lights an inch per day or more and never had any problems.
I just want to make sure I have as much headspace as possible is reason I am asking. 4 inches is a lot in my book.
nice whats them purps u got thereView attachment 4058845 View attachment 4058846
Been wanting to throw some of these up on here for a while. These are various shots from a 1000w tent and a 600w tent. All from seed.
