"Last week, the USDA put out a Class I recall notice on 8.7 million pounds of beef from the Rancho Feeding Corp., one of Hot Pocket’s primary meat suppliers, citing that the company had “processed diseased and unsound animals and carried out these activities without the benefit or full benefit of federal inspection.”

I hope no one east hot pockets, because this is the farm that supplies hot pockets with their meat.

Wait, what?

I've eaten half eaten sandwiches off the floor of central booking during the Dinkens drug sweeps. It's going to take more than a bad burrito to take me out

Don't you have some granola to eat, or a cow to hug, or something?
How do you eat under 40 grams of fat on a 2,000 calorie longevity diet the WHO recommdends with a meat diet? Most days I eat between 22 and 25 grams of fat. Even harder less than 50 grams protein to prevent cancer. Care to guess which are the longest lived, carnivore or herbivore in the animal kingdom? Also I eat very little grains because their carb to protein ratio is too high and it wastes a fat serving on fat I like better, such as avocado.

Because of big agriculture and corporate lobbyists
Americas food supply is virtually all tainted.
Now the fuckers are passing laws to make it a crime to film the abuse.
This was last month-

I eat what I want. I'm a friggin' classically french trained cook. I try to hide as much cream/butter/fat as I possibly can, in everything I make. It's called flavour.

The longest living animal on earth is the quahog, which is a filter feeder. The second is the bowhead whale, which is carnivorous, e.g. shrimp, etc. The third is the rougheye rockfish, which is carnivorous as well. Next is the red sea urchin, which coming in behind some carnivores, is the first animal that eats mainly vegetation, e.g. kelp, seaweed, but still eat small fish making them an omnivore. Next up is the Galapagos tortoise, the first herbivore on the list.

Bravo.

i can understand eating healthy, w/e, i love my meat, so yeah, but even people who eat healthy get diseases and die an early death.. i always loved the story of jim fixx, who had written a book about the benefits of jogging, only to die from a heart attack, wait for it, right after his daily jog..

shit happens, live and enjoy imo, but hey, if not eating meat makes you happy, great, but to think that eating only plants means you're going to live any longer then the guy who smokes 2 packs a day and has steak 3 days a week, well, shit happens, you never know..

No shit, like Steve Larsen among, probably handfuls or thousands of others..Steve was the called the Michael Jordan of Triathlon's. Dude was the US Mountain Biking Champ at one point, trained and rode with Lance Fagstrong in France and Europe during the Tours and then became a triathlete and killed it in Hawaii on numerous occasions.

Dude was 39, out on a training run at the new high school's track in town and had a heart attack and died right there. Shit does and will happen. I really don't know if he aint meat, doesn't matter, I also had an uncle live to 97 who ate meat all his damn life, but didn't smoke or drink. All kinds of variables to this existence.

I happen to think that the longest lived people are actually people consuming exclusive ethnic diets whether it be animals/plants, but the healthiest have a healthy dose of fermented foods.

Those are the healthiest humans. Animals are hard comparison because of metabolism and how different enzyme reactions are occuring, at least I would think.

A cow is a vegan, why can't people eat his ass?

I get all the fresh meat I need. Those damned squirrels fall for the bird feeder trap all the time. Blue Jay is pretty tasty too, but you need alot of them for a good meal.

Misinformed over here. Diet is the biggest cause of disease in the world.

Sugar is the killer. It's 'rare' in nature to find abundant, consistent sources of sugar, and naturally occuring sugar isn't nearly as bad for you as high fructose corn syrup.

Animal fat is something humans have eaten for hundreds of thousands of years.

LOL - You don't shove veganism or vegerianism down peoples throats. And you've never attacked people based on what they eat.
alternatively i read an article today the cows has cancer in their eyes or the company chopped off their heads before they were examined so they could be sold.
GROSS

i'm not saying that balzac, all i'm saying is even the healthiest mofo on the planet can get hit by a bus...
and just because you eat healthy, it has zero to do with how old you'll live.. my gf's son was 3 when he died of cancer, so yeah, so much for eating healthy and living a long life.. shit happens, eating healthy doesn't make one immune to life..
