Ventilation

Hello

so i was going to originally grow ten plants on a 1k watt

but now im adding three more plants, so im going to buy a 400 watt light except i already ordered all my lights and fans online and the fan will not be strong enough to ventilate the 1k watt and NEW 400 watt, so what if i add another exhaust fan to the 400 watt, connect it to the 1k watt, then connect the 1k watt too the orginal exhaust fan, would this work?

Original set up
1000watt --------> FAN----------> outside

NEW SET UP
NEW FAN -----> 400watt---->1K watt ----> FAN-----> OUTSIDE

would this mess around with the air pressure aswell?

BTW my intake will just be a rectangular hole in the door, can anyone tell me how big it should be, with these new additions?

ok, back up a little. What fan do you have now? size and rated CFM please. First comment: you want to pull air from the hoods, not push it through.

Its best to pull air from outside the room and expel it outside, that way you don't have to worry about smell or air pressure. If your pulling f4rom inside the room, your just advertizing that your growing.

the room is 10x10x10 and the original fan is a 6inch, 447 cfm

what im saying is i dont think that fan, which iv already ordered, will be able to cool off 1000watts + the new 400watt light im going to order.

Your room temps will change with the seasons. It could work fine now but get hot this summer. Depending on where you live room temps can swing wildly. Get it all set up and see. You can keep temps lower by running your lights at night. My point is that you can buy another fan if you need one later. Good luck

Your 447cfm fan may work to cool the room and buy a larger fan to cool the hoods of the 1k and 600w.

-Use A new fan to cool hoods, its better to draw heat from 600 through 1k and to PULL the heat vs push-

Foam filter in attic--->600w hood--->01k hood--->fan in attic--->foam filter in attic--->(if your fancy back into your homes hvac)

-Use your 447cfm fan on thermostat as exhaust fan for flower room-

*Exhaust*Carbon filter--->447cfm fan--->foam filter in attic--->
*intake*--->duct placed low on floor---> routed under floor---> intake from neighboring room (using method that suits your skill level).Intake will be passive

You still need to figure out the veg room, if the 447cfm fan cools the room enough you "may" (most likely not) be able to tie in the exhaust the veg room into the flower room. More likely you will need seperate intake and exhaust for veg too.

Having info on your room(s) make it easier to help.
