Hey guys I need some advice.
On December 28 I transplanted some vegging plants from party cups into their final 2.5 gallon pots and placed them in the flowering chamber but today January 6 I don't notice any major growth.
I understand theirs shock involved or what not but how long before they pick up? I took my time, was very careful and used very little superthrive to peform the transplant btw.
Any feedback will be recognized with + rep.

Yeah, need more info. CLones can be tricky, but yield good shit, plus you know the strain and sex. I would say they are in shock a bit. What light and times are you using?

It should take about a week to start the 'stretch' that comes with the beginning of bloom, maybe a little longer. Instead of stretching, the plant is building roots, and will take at least an extra week to mature. I never tried that before, so i'm curious if that will keep the stretch to a minimum. Hmm...keep us posted. :)

Its your lighting is what slowing it up. You plants will grow, and bud, just not to their full potential. CFLs work, and are great for your size garden, they just don't give enough juice to the plants as other systems/spectums would give.

How do you know he's using CFL's? *scratches head* Must be another thread?

Anyway...I agree, if you're using CFL's that'll slow you down even more. :)

i took cuttings from my plant outside which is now in the ground for the reason of taking 2 long 2 grow but did start it from seed n have been told that from seed under lights can take 3 times longer which in this case it was so i rip it out and stuck it in the ground and is going strong, so i took sum cuttings from it and had them under a grow fluro 4 about 3-4 weeks then banged them into the bottom of the my cuboard under a 600w light about a 1 metre over it, 2 weeks later isaw 1 tinny root shooting but hadnt appeared out da bottom of the foam block so i transplanted it to a pot of those brown rocks and this is what it looks like 2 weeks later (if da pics loaded), 1of the pics is the whole pump system and the ohters are a pic of hte plant i took the cuttings off as the other 1 is the size of the now (not much bigger than when i transplanted it 2 weeks ago), ive seen plants 2 weeks old twice the size of this unless its my strain, im using CANNA VEGA A and B with also CANNAZYM to stop root desiese, WHAT AM I DOIN WRONG PLS TELL OR HELP ME....

I used cfls for my first and second grow, and After the transplant it took mine about two weeks.

be patient guys. Thats rule number one around here. Can I get an amen?

The setup looks good, although the light could be a little closer (60-70cm)Maybe you should try soil growing for awhile, until you get the hang of it. Soil is alot more forgiving than hydro. :)

Haha ain't that the truth.
Ok sorry guys I believe I wasn't that detail in my first post so let me explain this again.
I vegged some babies for a total of 5-6 weeks prior to transplanting I gave them 24 hrs total darkness before 12/12.
Straight after the 24 hrs a transplanted them to their bigger final pots (btw im growing hydro not soil) because I obviously couldent flower them in the starting party cups (16 oz). So here I go I transplant them carefully w/ little superthrive and water sprayed the root ball water a medium a bit and bam that was that, shortly after introduced them into the flower room it's been only about a week and they look about the same no stretch.

I forgat to mention about a week before all this I had topped them so I can get 2 shoots just thought I throw that in their since maybe their just recovering due to all the circumstances.

My temp is between 75-80 F
humidity between 20-45%
I'm using 400 w hps ( vegged wit cfl's tho)
distance from plants is maybe 10 inches
using hydro nutes (Lucas formula)

I know one guy said it took his plants 2 weeks to recover maybe I just need to wait ?
Thank s guys keep the feedback coming

10 inches w a 400W HPS is kinda close don't you think? Are you sure it's not heat stress?

after a topping alot of the plants energy is reverted to the growth of side branches and the new tops add transplant shock and you confuse the crap out of it, right now its thinking that its leaves and its roots are under attack so which one does it regrow? it can only do so much at once right? so it does a little of everything and this is why it seems to be growing slower. Really its growing just in a lot of different places. So what i would recommend doing is just sit tight give her water when she needs it and she will come around, don't try to force it to grow with nutes, she doesn't need them she will tell you with her leaves when she does. your in hydro= dont up your nutes or add anything
