Voter ID Laws

I grew up in Chicago. It's spooky with all the zombies in the polling places every November, all of them Democrats too. Not surprising, really. You need to be brain-dead to vote Democrat.

http://losangeles.cbslocal.com/2016/05/23/cbs2-investigation-uncovers-votes-being-cast-from-grave-year-after-year/

"It remains unclear how the dead voters voted but 86 were registered Republicans, 146 were Democrats, including Cenkner.

“He’s a diehard Democrat, and I was thinking that if somebody was voting under his name, he’s probably rolling in his grave if they were voting Republican,” Givans said.

She said her dad always voted at the polls, only now records show someone else may be casting his vote.

“It just astounds me. I don’t understand how anybody can get away with that,” she said."

Zombies get away with it because the Democratic party wants the votes of the dead.
You didn't grow up. So, you begin your missive with a bad start.

You worry about a handful of examples where the fraud went against you. Yet voter suppression, which affected tens of thousands, you don't care. Also, why do almost half of all states use such archaic systems? My guess is because they are easily hacked with no paper trails. But you cite one case of fraud as if that's the whole enchilada. You are a tool.

As usual, @OddBall1st has it wrong. 1.5 million deceased did not have their votes placed fraudulently by somebody else.

http://www.npr.org/2012/02/14/146827471/study-1-8-million-dead-people-still-registered-to-vote
Study: 1.8 Million Dead People Still Registered To Vote

Democrats and Republicans don't agree on much. But they do agree that voter registration lists across the country are a mess.

A new report by the Pew Center on the States finds that more than 1.8 million dead people are currently registered to vote. And 24 million registrations are either invalid or inaccurate.

There's little evidence that this has led to widespread voter fraud, but it has raised concerns that the system is vulnerable.

County registration rolls contain lots of errors. When cross-checked against who actually voted, there are very few times where fraud occurred. When an election is very close, this can flip an election. Which is why recounts are done. And fraudulent votes are thrown out.

The real fraud is voter suppression such as voter ID. Barriers are put up that affect the economically disadvantaged. Other examples of suppression are faulty equipment that just happens to be set up in Democratic neighborhoods and too few voting machines for a large electorate just happening in neighborhoods that typically vote Democratic. This was how the presidency was stolen in 2000. But right wingers aren't talking about that.

That`s not even the one I read, It`s one I put up of many.

You`re talking voter fraud after they vote, the topic is voter ID which occurs before you vote. Because you say those links are lies, ...aint good enough.
Why do you not want to know who`s voting ?

Voter ID laws is based on phony reports of widespread voter fraud, even the article you used as evidence of fraud doesn't support your claim all it does say is that folks that have died have not been purged from voter list, they won't take the leap and claim that rampant fraud is occurring...but of course you do. Really 1.5 million cases of fraud.:oops: Liar!
BTW YOU were the one who used that article to prove fraud occurs, unfortunately for you it doesn't address voter ID laws.

So why did Gore demand a recount, twice ? Voter fraud is real. Having laws that allow the system to be accurate can`t be wrong. It can however be, not allowed when you have an agenda.

I didn`t use that article to prove fraud exists twister, I said to prove to me it`s inaccurate, which you haven`t done yet. All you spit is p[ants n fire shit. Like the other thread.

What is the advantage of not knowing who is voting ? Voter laws provide that. They are not based on phony reports of fraud.

Do you remember the Black Panthers in front of voting halls with big sticks ?, intimidation exists too.

Nobody tells you who to vote for, they tell you that you can or cannot vote. Non citizens cannot vote.

In Boston we have same day registration, why do you say you don`t need to prove who you are to register and vote. Resident and citizen are two different titles.

You been fooled into thinking Photo ID to vote suppresses only black people......Fool. Dumb fool.

I remember that. There were two of them (from the new black panther party) that showed up to the polls in one county somewhere in Philly back in 2008, I think. 2 of them!! and FOX news desperately tried to blow the whole story out of proportion - Playing the same clip over and over for days, talking how they were 'intimidating' they were, standing there, occasionally opening doors for voters.
