Want to ban guns?

as soon as i get my loan for my garage paid off im getting one of these. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AR-15 friend of mine is a local dealer, legal of coarse. my friends and i go to my parents camp a couple times a month and shoot guns. couple of my friends have some real cool rifles. i have a colt anaconda 9mm and a glock 27 40cal. i also inherited one of these from my grandfather when i was young http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colt_1851_Navy_Revolver i never shoot it though cause it's so old. where i live hunting is huge. almost everyone grows up with guns especially if you live in the country area. i rarely hunt myself but just like to shoot guns. its expensive but fuck it, i can afford to blow money on ammo. i dont know wtf is wrong with some ppl these days. almost all my friends, relatives and i always had access to the guns. usually not even locked. we just knew to never touch them. then when we got older we knew better to be responsible. its just funny we were 12 year old kids with shotguns and no parent supervision just having fun but being safe. i guess we were just that mature. we didnt have friends that were stupid and would do reckless shit with a gun. everyone just knew better. where did all these fucking stupid people come from? i mean fuck we would never even think of using a gun on another human being unless it was something like self defense. these people really piss me off that abuse guns. i wish all these stupid people would just shoot themselves in the fucking face so they wouldnt ruin gun rights for the rest of us. if ppl dont like guns and dont want to own them thats totally fine, but dont even think of speaking of taking guns away. as far as im concerned the government can go fuck itself and they will have to take my guns over my dead body and im not the only one. i do think we need to make it stricter for the mentally ill. and people with mentally ill family members like these idiots really need to start keeping better track of there crazy relatives or someone should throw them in prison or the psyche ward where ever they prefer. just keep em away from me and everyone else. banning only assault rifles would also be really stupid because you can do a shit load of damage with just a 22 cal. i guess some of these retards that did the shootings did 1 smart thing. they killed themselves so we dont have to pay for them to stay behind bars.
damn dude. I almost deleted this as spam, lol. you type just like a spammer

I don't, actually. But remember when a lot of people used to think stoners were just a bunch of hippies?

It was a total inside job, so they can take away our rights and for "our safety". I mean c'mon we eat food like products, not food. This makes us sick, so we need medicine. Now they want to take away our guns so were not only are we sick, were defenseless. It's all about the money to them, they don't give a fuck about individuals. . .

Two days later after the whole CT crisis, a guy shot his ex girlfriend in a restraunt; everyone in the restraunt fled to a nearby theatre. The man followed the crowd into the theatre, luckily their was an off duty police officer in the theatre that had a gun and stopped the guy from killing a whole theatre of people. Point is, the only way to stop a bad guy with a guy, is a good guy with a gun(fedz the only people with guns doesn't sound good IMO). Want to know why this wasn't on the news? Because they want everyone to think guns are bad, this story really wouldn't support what they're trying to do would it? Which is take away your weapons so ya sorry ass can't do nothing , control, and power; that's all they want.

this is the most two sided question ever. the constitution is irrelevant... it was written around 1776.

Look im from Flint, MI go look it up on wikipedia or something. Its not exactly easy to get handguns in MI in comparison with others. still we have MAJOR gun violence issues. in fact the whole I-75 corridor in SE MI is horrible. detroit, pontiac, flint, saginaw... hell on earth in certain areas in those cities.

Its not the guns, its the people. We should be taking this chance to educate, not just about guns, but also mental health. Hard drug use fits right into that equation too.

Ever since Crack and Heroin have been on a big uprise crime has shot up here. first it was the crack in the late 80's and into the 90's. Now on top of the coke/crack saturation we have a SERIOUS heroin problem. and just in the past few years it has sky-rocketed.
now all of a sudden the Flint area is No. 1 in arson, sexual assualt, B&E, and sadly CHILD ABUSE. EXTREME child abuse. raped infants used in porn, burned toddlers beat to death, youngest school shooting in history.

yeah it aint the guns people... its the PEOPLE. we can easily modify guns so that these mass shootings dont turn out the same...

and about armed police in classes WHAT ABOUT THE KAYLA SHOOTING IN BEECHER, MI?? you want to see cops killing 1'st graders? 5, 6 , and 7 year olds?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shooting_of_Kayla_Rolland

Kayla was one of my close friends' cousin. I see the abandoned playground built by General Motors in Kayla's memory all the time. The school was demolished after the shooting, and they built the playground. now its even in shambles... very sad.

Truth is that there would be less kids/bullied nerds buying guns. Criminals would most likely rob a nerd for his money if he tried to buy a gun. I'll laugh at anyone who thinks otherwise....dealers think about robbing first and if the kid is a bitch they will sense it.. But a gunshop will sell a gun to a nerd with the right papers.

So there would be less school shootings from bullied kids. a lot less, probably make a tremendous difference for that shit.

no denying this.

But the "papers" (odd choice of word) that show that the kid was 21 and over will be obviously incorrect. i have never heard of a gun shop doing this routinely. cn

What if my old mom needs to fire multiple shots at an intruder, is she supposed to sit there trying to operate the bolt on a bolt action rifle? what if some crazy klu klux klan or skinhead group attacks my home someday and there are a lot of them, am i supposed to surrender my black ass to them and submit to the lynching they want to give me after i fire a few rounds from my bolt action rifle? i can come up with thousands of real world reasons where "assault" rifles would come in very handy. China has a HUGE army and may one day decide they own the USA with all the inflated dollars they have flowing into their country from walmart and other stores, and send those troops our way one day. shit happens. when it does, i would like to be able to point my "assault" rifle at those invaders and get off a few rounds before i am consumed in the path of their rampage.
Yeah dude. Watch out for us cross burning vegans. Afterwards we'll force you to keep a puppy. :dunce:

I think everyone needs to watch the documentary: Breaking the Taboo. A lot to think about. Besides, Morgan Freeman has a cool voice. :)

I smoke weed. Just about every other drug scares me. Caffeine the least - gotta have my coffee. But I am careful with it because, unlike weed, it can kill ya. Tylenol? On rare occassions - I'm glad I'm not a daily user of that anymore. Yet, I really think, regardless of any problem that marijuana, cocaine, heroin, meth, alcohol, tobacco, whatever may cause - the problems that prohibition and the war on drugs create are far, far worse.

This war creates so much crime - so much demand for these guns.

Wake the fuck up, people. Laws against guns. We smoke weed!!! Many of us break the "laws against" every damn day!

Take away the huge demand by the war we feed. Then we can focus on education. Education about guns, drugs, cell phones while driving, junk food, combining grocery carts and ramps in any manner, or whatever the hell we do to ourselves. If we had an education system to be proud of, we would be better off. We would have a better chance to catch the bad guys before the good guys have to pull out their guns.

I think that if the education system in the USA was number 1 and we stopped creating so much crime and potential for illegal profit and need for guns, we wouldn't need so many "laws against". The country's common sense quotient would soar. Or maybe that's all just wishful thinking. Oh well, I'll try to come back to reality next year. (Posted 12/31/12 9 pm Alaskan time.)

p.s. Don't own a gun - don't care to. Pulled a handgun on someone once in defense of my home over 20 years ago. It was actually an unloaded BB pistol - luckily, he did not realize that.

Miami homeowner shoots naked man choking family dog

By Carli Teproff

A barking dog woke a homeowner out of his early morning sleep Wednesday. After grabbing his gun, the homeowner went to check and found a naked man outside choking the family pet.

When the homeowner tried pulling the naked man off the dog, the culprit quickly turned around and began biting the homeowner.

That’s when the homeowner used his gun, Miami Police said.

“The person was naked, on the front porch choking his dog,” said police spokeswoman Napier Valasquez. “That’s when the resident shot him in the foot.”

The injured man, who was identified as Jeffrey Delice, 20, was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital and treated for his gunshot wound.

But before he could be taken for treatment, Delice scuffled with the police officers who were called to the scene.

Delice faces was burglary with an assault, resisting arrest with violence, lewd and lascivious behavior and animal cruelty charges.

Delice, 20, has been arrested twice before, but never convicted.

It’s unknown what he was doing on the porch of the home at 175 NW 56th St. Delice lives a few miles away, at 407 NW 84th St., Miami.

Semi auto 12 gauge with #6 shot, drop anything within 20 feet and won't go through the walls, if your gonna defend your family and home this IMO is the safest way if your "have" to have a firearm
