I think it's a decent possibility Stevie used the pills to justify it, I've known too many people like his kind and chances are it wasn't the first time and wouldn't be the last.

Can't believe that guy stevie stealing the money from a pound donated. Thats really fucked up. If he was really hurting for money he should of just went to DeAngelo and asked for help. It probably wasn't his first time stealing from harbourside.
dude is a d-bag for stealing from a dispensary. that was donated for the employees, so its like he stole it from each co-worker personally. ive seen this guy too. thought he was a tool and not worthy of his position. rick on the other hand should have his own TV show. he is good for MMj just by being himself. but seriously, get some gloves in the buying department. I don't see hand wash stations in your purchasing room.

Does anyone at Harborside know about medical gloves?

bomba clot dred fake ras bwoi mi sey cha at lil stevie! he makes us all look bad. cry like a bitch after you stole 3grand. wtf did you expect?

repeat: im so glad they cut me and kushman out of the show. thank you braverman for that. i can see why they liked the footage of me freaking out at kushman for bringing the cameras to my house lol... not the same kind of tone as the show tho

was he really addicted to pills or did they plan that to slam big pharma. if he was addicted that sucks. either way loved how they slammed big pharma saying you get addicted and you steal. nice..also they threw that word out there. you know the main ingreident that makes herion.
I think him (Stevie) saying that he needed the pills for pain, actually hurt the MMJ movement a little. I mean he's an MMJ user, but it was t enough to help with pain so he kept using pills after his prescribed time. Isn't the whole point of MMJ being its a more natural alternative to pharmaceuticals?
My own reaction was the first one and then some of the second.

I bet if you played this episode for a group of first graders, they'd 'get' the thematic expression that pharamaceuticals = junkie behavior whereas MMJ = patient wisdom and unconditional love. I wonder if adults would pick up on the same things . . .

And at the same time, can't help but wonder about the other implication here, that MMJ wasn't 'strong enough' for Stevie's pain and he had to use synthetic opiates when he was 'really' ill.

Medical Marijuana isn't a cure all miracle drug. Truth is that it's not going to completely fix every ailment. I've got no problem with that being brought up.

An alternative to pharma in some cases. Its the only option in many cases as well, like appetite stimulation. MMj is also used for mental issues that pharma has no clue how to handle.

And as long as that point is clearly made, they should bring up the fact that it won't provide 100% relief for every ailment. To not do so would be irresponsible.

In a way, I'm kind of happy that they are showing the medical marijuana community is doing the best they can, seriously helping some people, but not in any way perfect. That is the reality of medical marijuana in California, so I'm glad the show depicts that.

How do you guys feel about this "Clean Green Certification" ? harbor side really pushes this company, in fact josh was saying to the vendors and I quote "if you have a clean green certified pound were buying it no questions " I know all about Clean Green Certification but its pricey and your letting someone come to your place.

I believe it involves someone coming out to your grow and certifying you as organic. After hearing that I lost interest. Not letting some random no where I grow. Fuck that.

i agree Dan . I don't need some company's certification to donate my stash . Especially when you have to pay 1,000 and have some guy come check you out.

What a shame was looking forward to the show and man what a bunch of stoner's not people needing meds at all unless its for picking out your matching tie..lol...and anyone who steals herbs to buy pills is just a junkie not someone who needs herbs..the only one who maybe should talk on the show is the guy who buys the herbs with the glasses he seems legit without being a burnout stoner..just show people who r in need not someone trying to pickout there meds(key word) for 15 minutes cuz hes burnt out already and ran out so hes at the store right before closing..lol..jmo..

Harborside buyers (all of them really at both locations) are the best in the business. They know their shit and understand how to treat a vendor. That has always been their biggest strength.

With the closing of my dispensary here in Sac I may just make the trip to one of the Harbosides and sample their goods. I love this show BTW. :D

I vend there on occasion (when ever I get a pack that looks absolutely perfect). And I can say they treat their vendors extremely well. None of the usual bullshit you get from buyers. They take a look at your bud under a microscope, then they tell you the truth about what they think about it. Thanks fucking amazing in this business. Every other buyer at any club I've been to has always tried to bullshit me in one way or another. The combination of honest and competency is very refreshing. I just hate the idea of getting paid by check. If it wasn't for that, I'd always go there.
