Weird Leaf Growth

My G13 Fem White Widow is just about 2 weeks from seed under a 150w HPS. Lookin' a little freaky. Indication of anything?

I am talking about the leaves on the right, there are 3 on the opposite side, but 2 on this side. The 3rd leaf is actually looks like it's part of the center leaf (like siamese leaves).

If I were you, I'd forget about that weird-looking leaf, and concentrate on fixing the deficiencies/damage, because it's on the road to disaster, atm. Any idea what caused it? Happy Frog is a great soil for growing, and isn't too 'hot' for the little one's. Plus, being that you PH'ed your water, I don't have any ideas, as to what your problem could be. Not yet, anyway. Hmm....

uptake????
deficiency's/over nuting. npk ratios

seedlings dont require much and can be sensitive to new soils. a deficiency is unlikely being plant is so young, not too familiar with happy frog tho.
what kind of ph test?
what are you using to lower/raise ph?
how much ppm is base water?

heat or humidity may be off.

how close are lights?
room temps?
is air being exchanged?

^Fox Farm's Happy Frog, is basically, a milder version of Ocean Forest(which can burn some sensitive strains, I've been told). It isn't capable or burning plants, as far as I seen.(unless he got a bad batch) I use it, and love it.

P.S. I like the 'hard water idea'. It's a possibility, for sure. :)

whats up jawbrodt, long time no talk eh? yes hardwater is a bitch in some parts of the world. my base water is around 170ppm. i use ocean forest for seedlings with no ill effects.

come check out my grow in sig, things are looking good and harvesting next weekend.

^No doubt.lol Hey, I just checked out your grow, and they look great. Excellent job. Are those plants you have vegging, from cutting that were taken during flowering? Judging by the crazy branching, that'd be my guess. I'm going to start doing that, myself, if I can get the timing just right. That can be tough, when growing perpetual, but I think the adjustment can be made. *scratches chin*

I just flipped these to 12/12, on the 24th.....

(sorry, didn't mean to hijack the thread. :) )

maybe the perlite had ferts in it? happy frog never burnt any of my seedlings. i consider it a pretty mild soil. my current crop showed n def before 2 weeks in the happy frog. some perlite has ferts in it or maybe the ph is just way off.

There are 3 strains. The 5 compact, bushier plants, are Ice.(some untrained, some not) Those two that are next two each other, sorta crazy-looking, with sativa-like, dark green leaves, are Crystal clones that I've had for about 10 months. To the left of those, is the one Rocklock freebie I got from Attitude. It's taller than the rest, but looks like I should turn out pretty good. Here's the thread..... https://www.rollitup.org/newbie-central/357232-nirvanas-ice-dnas-rocklock-soil-4.html

The plant I was referring to, is on the last page, at the top, pictured in someone's quote. It looks quite branchy, and I can't tell if it's been trained, which is why I asked. :)

I have a passive intake with an exhaust fan, cooltube is vented direct pass through. I am using RO/DI water, I us pH up and pH down for adjusting. I will be using Jack's Classic nutes. I was planning on starting with my next watering at 1/4 strength. The perlite I used does not have any nutes in it. Temps. are high of 83 and low of 72, but mainly runs about 79, I leave the doors open. Top is about 9" under the light.

you using a ph pen or a ph solution color chart? 9" is real close for a baby. My plants are about to finish flowering and on average are about 10" away, this is a 400 hps tho.

I have a pH liquid test kit with the color chart. I wasn't sure on the how close to the light after breaking ground. It was about 12" away until a few days ago where I moved it closer.
