And as far as dispensaries having shit pot...she hasn't been to a good one yet. There are 5000 pizza joints in CO but only a few are good. This industry is no different. It still takes people to grow killer pot which isn't easy in a commercial setting. But to say that all dispensaries are shit shows how ignorant a person can be. We sell some really good meds at our store. Do we all know "The Clinic"? They are the weedmaps standard for excellence chosen by the patients of Colorado, 2011. I don't know about this year.. They have a chemist who makes their hash oils, all strain specific. The weed is pricey, but it's killer and they are always busy. There are lots of other places too that if you didn't know they were there, you missed out on some killer buds at crazy cheep pricing.

Well said, couldn't agree more. I definitely know a few dispensaries that grow GOOD weed (a hell of a lot better than mine)!

Not cutting them off because they wanted to check out some different weed at a dispensary. You sound like you took that shit to heart and it hurt your feelings. Exactly why I stopped being a caregiver. It seems every patient now is a self proclaimed weed expert who acts like they are doing you some kind of favor with their $40 a month purchase. I've heard it all from being told they should be getting free ounces every month (because thats what the clinics do) to 'why are you cutting all the leaves off the buds' (apparently shitty trim jobs is the norm now) to 'it costs you nothing to grow'. Never mind the fact that caregivers risk having their door kicked in by the cops, their dogs being shot, losing their kids, and the constant threat of having to fight charges in court.

Why is anyone a caregiver, if it's so damn difficult? But I hear you on the patients being entitled. This guy I know tells me his caregiver offers to give his five patients one free ounce of weed every month. I've smoked it and it's pretty good.....not great by any stretch. But he said his caregiver gets to sell his other 11 ounces minimum per grow..that's $2200 per month for each patient....that's an easy 10 grand a month. Half of it goes to the grow with a hefty monthly check to the caregiver. I know a guy who is a caregiver and he had the cops over to look at things. He said it was no big deal. I think the only people that have other things to hide are going to bitch about being a caregiver.

If someone is moving 55 oz's a month to people other than his patients then he is obviously getting rid of it by less than legal ways, is he bitching cause he has something to hide?

I don't know. I'm not a caregiver....just doing some numbers. And I don't know a single caregiver who isn't doing it for the money. If caregivers really cared about there cancer patients, they would be growing Ruderalis plants that have 15% CBDs. I willing to bet my life the overwhelming majority of caregivers are growing high THC strains. What do you think??

There was a guy buying wholesale from us the other day and he said they had won the CO cannabis cup for best medical weed. It has almost no THC and 18% CBDs!!! They are a sister Co. of Greenway.....they own 10 or 20 MMCs in Co.

There is a huge movement within the MMJ community for creating super high CBD, 0 THC strains. This, according to them is the real medicine. Cancer patients use it topically on cancer sores and they totally go away after 10 - 14 days of use. Let's face it, I use MM because I have anxiety and severe muscle spasms from a few herniated discs. Pot doesn't help with nerve pain, but it helps my anxiety and more than anything it helps my muscle spasms. And Dr. Jay's is the best edible I have found for my spasms, besides Cheeba Chews which are inconsistent.

I've heard of plants as high as 20% CBD.....I've heard. I doubt I will ever find out the truth because I follow the THC.

You people have to realize that some of these people who are getting weed for the first time in years or maybe even the first time in their lives. They have no idea how the marijuana game works. I know that I didn't know what good weed was when I first started smoking. Hell, all weed was fucking great when I first started smoking. I couldn't roll a joint and I had no idea how much the shit cost. I was at the mercy of my friends and luckily I had good friends that were hip to the game and taught me everything that I needed to know. I thought that being a caregiver were for people who really needed the shit and that you aren't doing it for a profit. I thought caregivers were growing pot to help the patients that were in need of the medication. Hell I used to sell weed back in the day, and I never got mad when someone went to someone else if they could get a better deal because that is exactly what I would do. I can't say I know anything abouty the medical marijuana scene at all. I doubt I ever will here in the bible belt of Kentucky. None of the states around me have medical marijuana laws either as far as I know. So my opinion is based on limited knowledge on the subject, so I could be wrong.
