What do you do when your grow is found?

well the post started out as "my grow was found"

we were all offering sympathetic advice

then it was changed to "hypothetically"

that irritated us so we got really, really, hyopthetical.

nuff said.....

If I knew for sure that my grow was found, I think I'd observe from a distance while hiking or whatever for 2-3 weeks just to make sure they were there still.......If the 5.0 knows about them, you would think they'd uproot them so nobody (like children) could get ahold of them. Basically, I'd keep some distance till you feel comfortable going back to them. That's how I'd go about it anyway.

binoculors my friend, or a telescope... go camping on the oppisite mountainside... but first try to convince them what you are doing is harmless, point out facts, and explain that its a medical grow for your dying gradma, mother, aunt, brother/sister, something.... if they are still not cool, tell them off for putting you into prison for hurting no one etc. etc. eventually just pull something out and clobber them over the heads and dump them in the river/lake with cement tied to the feets...... too graphic??? sorry.... hypothetically, and your doing it all, not me...lol if someone stumbled into my grow and called the cops... wait, that already happened....... lol, no big deal... Prop 215 ROCKS!

Get a trail camera, set it up all camouflaged near your plants ,but not right at your plants. come back as a hiker a couple days later and retrieve camera footage. see any cops in the pictures? If not then stick with the hiker/camera routine until harvest time.

BTW a trail camera is for hunters who would like to see what kind of wildlife is in the area. you set it up so that it can either take short video clips OR snap shots w flash. its all activated by a passive infrared motion sensor. Set it up all hidden and leave the area, depending on how much memory you had in it and mode you left it in you could come back a week later and anything that was moving with a heat signature other than ambient would have its pic taken. You wouldn't believe the wildlife that comes out at night until you use one of these things.

Use several of these cameras from the beginning and you will always know if it has somehow been compromised.

if they are still veging and I had the stuff to take clones I'd wait till the leave take a crap load of clones and leave and watch the area

i use a hunters trail camera right now and it works perfect...all ive seen so far is raccoons and a fox and they were just passing by...but i would highly reccommend one they're fairly cheap and its much better than goin to jail or having it stolen

I agree to eventually go back "undercover" or at least empty handed and with a little backup plausible deniability like hiking yourself, to at least keep an eye on your work.

Aren't you worried about someone coming along and stealing your trail cam? That would be my luck.
They actually make a bracket type of device so you can lock it to the tree you put it on. So if your worried abut someone stealing it get one of those locking devices for it. Not sure what they are called, but I know they make them. I bought a hurters motion camera several years ago when something was getting into my garbage cans at night. I wanted to know what it was. Turned out to be raccons. I should get a new digital one. This one uses 35mm film. Thats how old it is. LOL.

If I saw some one comming and they saw me I'd just keep walking and keep and eye to see and make sure they don't come back so that I'd have enough time to take clones off of them

I tell you what I wouldn't do. That's try to bribe Dick and Jane. I wouldn't go back either.
Hikers and theives are why I don't grow outdoors anymore. Oh yeah, cops too.
In the past, if I ever felt squirrely about going to my plants I'd camo up and carry my bow with me. Bowhunting is a fine reason to be in the woods in the fall. Of course it hard to bs your way free if they nab you on the way out and you're carrying you harvest with you.
