im tired of buying dirt tired of wondering if the ph in my soil is 6.5 i know how to test ph of soil just dont think its very reliable then i got to move pots her and there flush then worrie some moor about my ph just dont want to fuck with soil no moor plus it takes to long to rise or lower ph in soil hassle to me and ph seams to always be my prob......with dwc you only got to top off the the water as it drops then every 7 to 10 days add new fresh water to it making sure its ph-ed then do it again next tie you refresh the water thats my understanding of it but im just now reading up on it and from what i read its less hassle then soil...
First of all, dirt is reusable. You just add more amendments before you replant.

PH? If you run organic soil, ph is mostly insignificant. If you want to test the ph of your soil, you test runoff or buy a soil ph meter.

You also don't need to flush on soil if you do it right. I assume you're using bottled nutes?

What's funny is that you're bitching about all the things that accompany soil... But they don't. Hydro incorporates all of the above though.

If you don't want to run organic soil the right way, perhaps you should run coco. It may suit you better.

You have started like a half dozen threads, you are making this way harder than it is... Unless your water sucks ( very hard) over 350 ppm ..Soil is simple and needs no pH monitoring.

Even with hard water, you can mix with rain water or RO water to get it down to the 200 range and not monitor the pH.

im just tired of ph in soil i dont burn plants, but my ph seams to dro

i see what you saying about checking shit all the time that is not heard for me i check shit every day, just in soil its like a guessing game some times with the ph. like checking shit in just plain water seams right on point and if its off and needs adjusted seams easier to do, like soil u chang the ph in soil it can take a while to fix it, in dwc seams like u can fix every thing right then in there, i dont have problems growing weed at all just dont want to mess with soil any moor
I never check pH in soil. I use peat, humus and vermiculite. Peat has an initial pH of 4.0-5.0 average. It will adjust the pH on its own as it degrades. Try FFOF soil for a grow and do not check pH even once. Just do everything else right.

I think it is Hempy bucket and Lucas formula. Check out this thread. Just mix nutes and PH every other day pretty much.

DWC. No it is not the easiest. You have to check and adjust the PH every day. Soil? Yeah it's pretty easy too.

If you're gonna move from Soil and want easy. Hempy and Lucas formula would be my choice.

thats the thing i dont care to do that, in soil when my ph drops it takes 7 days just to get back up to 6.5, so to me thats harder to work with

ffof soil
What is your feeding schedule with that soil?

A friend told me this before I might be wrong so please correct me someone...

(If the ph is low normally means your ppm is high, and if ph of run off is high that means ppm is low..)
^^ Not sure how correct is that and I might be wrong

so to adjust low ph that feed half doses or straight water with ph 6.8-6.5 for a watering or two then measure your ph and it should be back to normal..

If not then the Epsom salts Is your best bet.

Just offering up a great and easy alternative to soil. Yeah I've done soil, it's good. Never needed to ph. I have great tap tho. Well under than 100 ppm. I did DWC. It's a pain in the ass. Too much work for me, but it is an awesome way to grow. Hempy and Lucas is just cheap and easy. You can use the medium over and over.

If you are having ph issues in soil, buy a water bottle and fill it up with filtered water from the grocery for .30 c a gallon. Also try a better soil mix. You can also use te Lucas Formula in soil. Just get Maxibloom powder and be done with it.

If you don't wanna take any of the good advice many have given you. Consider just sourcing from the dispensary or whatever.

I just want to get the best out of my plants, if i got to change ph in dwc every 12 hr then thats fine with me soil just takes to long and I dont want to mess with it any moor, rather be able to fix a problem right then and there and know its good till the nezt time then to mess with soil..

So you don't wanna bother with ph. Yet you're willing to ph in DWC every 12 hours. Hey. DWC is great actually. I've had autos finish in soil in 8 weeks. That's more strain dependent tho. Just do what you wanna do then and good luck to you.

Here's the last bit I'm going to say about this misinformation you have concocted inside your own mind. If you can't stabilize ph in soil, YOU ARE DOING SOMETHING WRONG!

DWC is going to chew you up and spit you out. Just being realistic.
