What the "FIM Technique" did for me....

Looks great, KrazyKat! I have a question regarding your comment, "after cutting your girls will be ugly...." I just FIMed for the first time last night, (my first ever grow) and noticed this morning that the area where I cut is now black. It's not spreading or anything--just right at the spot where I cut it. Did this happen to you? Maybe a natural result of the stress one causes the plant due to cutting?
Thanks for your insight or anyone else's!

But mainly wanted to show the one FIM cut that produced like everyone thinks, or wishes, it would. This is the only cut that turned out this way but i did them all a lil different to see which would be best. This was very hard to get a focused picture of but this is her.View attachment 2342745
You can't tell from the picture but there are 5 branches coming from the very top and 4 more lower that are still above the FIM cut, so from one cut we got 9 branches total.
man some of them have some fat ass fan leaves must be indica dominant, but very nice job plants nice and healthy

FIM is the oops cut. It stands for Fuck I Missed. So you ether top or fim starting shoots. I top to get clones but fim everything eles. Nothing is set in stone so you might not do anything or you might get 8 new shoots. As for getting off topic I didnt read.

Sry, been busy and comp has been down.
@Toro: By ugly i mean that no matter how small the node is when you cut it will grow cut leaves that dont look that great but are fine so do not cut off. And MOho is right about the cuts turning black.
@Warlock: you said it better than me, you either get nothing or everything!\

So heres the update you want Mogo, they are a little over 2 weeks into flower.

Had a N def after switching to flower nutes so added a lil old nutes back and seems to be going away. Also about to start Gravity next water and Snow Storm prob sometime next week.

As for my WW in the middle i only wanted to top them but did a true FIM, i really did miss. On this plant i wouldnt really recommend FIMing, the leaves are just to big for multiple colas to have access to light. But here are the pics.

As you can see it has many branches but only 3 on each plant has made it to the top, i could cut out some leaves but thats not what i like to do.

Where's the update or does your pc still need a penicillin shot? :bigjoint:here's a pic of my mainline gurl ain't she sexy View attachment 2349433View attachment 2349434
Yea she looks pretty pretty, how many you got there, i counted around 25? Bet she really looks good now if you started flowering. might try mainlining next time but my own way, thinking Fim first really young then if successful in getting 8 plus branches then start tying them bitches down. mainly for me just to spread the branches away from each other early. for insistence just now i found a branch from my 10 head cut that i miss but is way behind cause it hasn't seen the light till now.
