what's the average yield from a 9x9 space vs 18x18 space?

I'm working with two 9x9 spaces, trying to gauge average yield to determine if I should use one 18x18 space, or two 9x9s. Can't seem to find many recent journals, any help greatly appreciated.

Space doesn't matter as much as lighting. Assuming you have enough lighting to do it, roughly 4X as much, but really it depends on the lighting and reflection. If you had a 9x9 room with mylar on the walls more light would reflect off the walls to help the plants more. Where if you had a 18x18 there would be less relection, especially in the center of the room, which could create less light per 9x9 area. Usually amount of bud depends on light though, obviously with some limitations. Generally more light = more bud though. So it's tough to really say without knowing your full set up and what area it is, but I'd say conservatively 3-4X as much as a 9x9 area.

No one can answer that. Too many factors. Strain, medium, method, veg time, nutes, airflow, temp, humidity, lighting are all factors. Every environment is different.

Here's what I'm thinking... Co2, near organic soil in 25 three-gallon geopots per 9x9.. . veg 2.5 weeks in 1gal pots 18/6, late veg/flower in 3gal..
LED lights (almost settled on platinum unless I find better that I don't have to build), NFTG nutes, minisplit. using a climate controller (either iponic, titan etc). first 9x9 will be from clones (cherry pie or sfv og), autoflowering from seed in other 9x9.
might throw in a 6-site Oxygen Pot system or similar to get my roots wet with ebb n flo.

Just buy an a small HPS instead of the Platinum......it will run cooler...the platinum is about 10-20% efficienct....Meaning even if it was even 200 watts of actual draw, you would see between 20-40 PAR watts of usable light.....

A 250 watt HPS @30+%, will give you at least double the usable light.....

The efficiency will also help with cooling....that platinum will run hotter than the HPS....

Don't buy cheap shit, just because you want in the game......buy working shit.....

Cool are you suggesting wing reflectors? Might need a lot for an 18x9
