When the hell are the vero 29 gen 8's going to be released ????????anybody ?

Been sitting here waiting for some gen 8's. Anybody got any ears on the grapevines ???

Then would not next month be it since the Vero 29 gen 7 launched in July of 2016 so 17 months ago. Would be nice still running some gen 5's here 8's would be a nice upgrade. One things for sure if i bought some gen7's today sure as shit gen8's would launch tomorrow.

Dang, i never even gave gen 8 a thought. I am presently swapping out 4 x v1.2 for 4 gen 7. My math is horrible but i estimated the improvement in efficiency @15-20%.

Hmm, the datasheet from CMA3090 looks not very impressive to me.
Only 12.070lm from 86,4w @85°C(48v/1,8A) means only 140lm/w for 3500k/CRI80.

im expecting the CMAs to be right about the same performance as luminus cxm 22/citi 1818/vero B in the range we use them

luminus still the only one of those under $20 and a new gen is due in next few months
