Was wondering if anyone knows the best old school indica strains to buy? What seed companies are best? I want that old school flavor and knock down stone.

From seed companies that have been around for a long time or if you can even find them. Spice of life seeds, sensi seeds, sagmartha, flying dutchmen, Soma seeds. Dj short. Almost everything new is poly poly hybrids.

Gotta love the smart ass comments. Never was anything couch lock either right. Whatever. If ya don't have anything good to say, don't say it. Then we don't sound stupid.
Why u think they made hash out of the indicas. Navy 70s, smoked hash all over europe. There's a high there but never stoned. Dreamy maybe.

couch lock is a side effect of 12/12 lighting

I grow land race Indicas all the time under 10:30/13:30 and they are ALL uplifting energetic highs, just like that hash you remember 8)

I'll bet donuts to dollars when this DNA thing is finished there's not a pure indicated or sativa left on this planet. Skunk is spoken in every language. Lol

Si if you flower any strain under 1030/1330 then they take on "sativa" effects? What about a sativa under 12/12, will it always be couchlock as a side effect?

Not always, there will always be a variance between different strains, but it will be a very different high

Haha yeah I've noticed that with the one cutting we had eight years ago. Between me changing and the environment slowing transforming to the needs of her, the stone it use to be now last year lifts me initially before settling me down to the beanbag:mrgreen:

Simply look at a map and point out where the good land races grow, the only one near the equator is Columbia and while the day lengths vary from 11:52 to 12:23 over the year the actual average sunlight is only between 3 and 5 hours a day
http://www.bogota.climatemps.com/sunlight.php

Durban Africa, is in the far south, no where near the equator

Charas Mountains (Himalayas) India home of the most expensive cannabis product in the world (malana creme) which comes from a Sat land race, no where near the equator

Scratch the charas. You cant compare extracts to bud. Theyre growing GH seeds there anyway or skunk. Haha you hit the nail on the head with columbia. Santa marta, oaxaca, and Thai are the great ones and theyre all pretty close.
