$50USD for a CD CXB3590 is like $80cdn and then shipping/tax and you're closer to $90-$100. Why not just pay $36 for a Vero29 and get basically the same performance while saving a ton of money.$96 for a Cree CXB3590???someone is stitching you up bud. In the last week we have sent COB kits to Vancouver, Ottawa, Banff, Edmonton, no one has had any issues with customs I am aware of?

Nice, this is pretty sweet, but would this be a good shape for a slim build, plus a fan on top? Also, will this fit or cover the COB correctly?

Those look bigger than they are. The fan goes on the side of it with clips they include. Many people use those passively on CPU's running at pretty high temps. There are plenty of builds in the forums that use cpu heatsinks exactly like this but different branding/material etc. The cobs are only about 1" square.

128sqft of your space x 30-50w's per sq foot = 3800-5000watts. Sounds like about 12 rows of 8 cobs. If you have the money to buy from heatsinkusa then you can get the same passive heatsink everyone else in the forums uses which is about 5.8"x36" with 4 cobs on each.
I wouldn't want to be hooking up 100 cpu coolers!!! The only thing that sucks is you'll pay over $100cdn just for one of your 24 heatsinks. I didn't realize you were doing such a big grow. You might end up getting a discount from Jerry at Kingbrite for an order that big but I highly doubt it will cheaper than ordering Vero 29's from Digikey.ca. I think people are getting CXB3590's for about $45-$50usd per cob. After tax and shipping you'll be paying about $100cdn per cob. Vero's are $36 each from Digikey so the math is easy
1 vero 29 is $39cdn vs $36 on digikey. Shipping is slightly more also but maybe not where you're from.
You will need a driver too fan wago wires TIM screws psu so maybe more than 50 $!?!

I think in this forum/industry, what actually operates is a hybrid version, ie the rooms you build all have fans operating within them and the performance of the pin fins for example implicitly require that for best case performance your room has active air movement
