Translation: I haven't got UB on 'ignore' and never have.
Lol, I take him off exactly one day per year, let him repeat the same 'ol shit in his Hannityesque style, confirm there's still no reason to read ANYTHING he types, then right back on ignore until next year. It's a great system, makes the experience here far more intellectually stimulating and raises the average IQ of this site significantly.

average wage of someone in that business in your area is around $35,000 a year, full time.

you must be one of those mega-wonders like ANALEXCESS who makes 6 times the amount that someone in their supposed profession makes.

@londonfog , i got another dreamer here for ya!
I thought he retired young after he made so much money as a car salesman. I guess not.
We got a Home Inspector who pulls 288,000 a year and now we got a blinds sale-mans thats claiming he is making at least a half a million selling blinds. I swear I'm in the wrong fucking business.

Cute, I own a blind & shutter bidness, thank you. It's closer to 300k and yes, you probably are in the wrong business.

yep, ANALEXCESS makes 6 times as much as the average home inspector, and MUYpoco makes 6 times as much as the average curtain hanger.

How's that blinds business going? I recall that @UncleBuck pretty much showed you were making shit up when bragging about your business acumen. And didn't you tell me you sold so many used cars that you retired at 35? Now you are saying you made your bones in real estate?

You and Trump have one thing in common. You both lie about your wealth.
Lolz, I have had UB on ignore for years, he hasn't ever schooled me in anything. I was a car sales manager and invested my ducketts in real estate as my family grew, kept them, rented them out and then sold the whole lot and retired to NC in 2005. That's the way it went and that's the way I've always stated it. I'm sorry you listen to UB's wild conjecture and then regurgitate those fantasies as fact. Says far more about you, than me.
I pulled up the post from @UncleBuck , I never said you read it. I said it pretty much shows that you are making up shit about your business:

"there is no way this adds up"

You are fitting into the profile of a narcissist, like Trump, who lies even when it doesn't matter. Oh sure you were a super dee duper salesman who sold enough used cars to retire at the age of 35. Funny thing though: the thread that contains the above analysis also has you stating that your health issues would have been a financial hardship except for your wife's health insurance. WTF? A super dee duper wealthy blinds magnate (lol) can't afford his own health care.

OK, I'm done. You are full of shit. I don't know why you need to talk about yourself because your posts mostly focus on your low opinion of other people. I guess you lie about your finances to justify being a high and mighty ass.

Can we all agree that billionaires can't be trusted with that much money or power over others?

The more they have, the more they screw up. Not just for themselves, personally, like rich TV families do - spending it on ostentatious toys, drugs, disastrous infidelities, and lawyers to get them out of trouble after they commit crimes.

Oh, no. They're not content with that. They like to take down entire economies. Ruin it for everyone. For you.

And then laugh all the way to the bank.

After all, how much more corrupt can it get than tax deductible status for unlimited donations to your candidate of choice?

I was just appreciating the bluntness of the writer. It was refreshing. But yeah, like Trump said, the wealthy like a good economic crash because they can buy up investments on the cheap. Nothing really funny about that, it's just the irony of how concerned our wingnuts are for the economic well being of the 1% when they give the lower 99 the shaft at every opportunity.

Giving the 99% the shaft is how they stay in the 1%.

Yes and no. Yes in the short term. No because eventually events turn and the people who just stick it to others get stuck. French revolution is one example. snick goes the guillotine.

One small problem, those numbers are what "installers" get paid by the folks like me who actually own the company. Lolz @ the priceless fail. Not to mention they are waaaay too high. Most installers in this area get paid $4-$5 per blind/shade out of the $35-$100 profit per blind/shade that I make. Standard faux wood blind profit per window ranges from $35 for a standard single to $50 for a double and $75 for a triple window. Cellular Shades are a bit better @ $45/single to $65/double to $85/triple. Roller Shades (hottest product in the business right now) $50/single to $75/double to $100/triple and we can do single quad width windows and giant sliding doors where we make between $200-$400 for one shade. The average home in this area now has 22 windows and we do about 20-25 blind/shade jobs a month (small potatoes compared to the big players who do 50-100). I do no advertising and my only overhead is gas, screws and my time. You do the math genius.

Shutters are even better. It's by the square foot and we are actually reasonable on shutters. The per sq ft price is around $24 and we pay $12.50 including shipping. Average window sizes range from 13 sq ft all the way up to 52 sq ft. The average job is now in the neighborhood of 300 sq ft @ $11.50 sq ft profit. We do about 2-3 full home shutter jobs a month and multiple jobs doing just the windows at the front of the home. Again, do the math genius.

Talk to ANYONE that is actually in the business and they will tell you my markups are actually low, except on shutters. We're damn good at shutters and we live by referrals in high end neighborhoods.

Maybe you shouldn't get your figures from a village idiot that thinks what he earns working for a guy like me, somehow gives him ANY insight into a home furnishings category that he has zero experience in.
now you are trying to claim that the person who installs the window or sliding glass door only gets paid as much as the person who installs the window blind.

laughable. no independent and verifiable source will come anywhere close to claiming what you just claimed.

loser.
