Hey jats, just finished a run of 3 Serious Seeds White Russians. Nice and easy to grow. Don't top your plants as they develop fairly impressive main colas. I like to supercrop mine to bush them out. That being said, be mindful of botritis, I lost almost half of the main cola on the best of the the 3, and had to chop her at 55 days, although it is dank and smokes real nice, I like to run them at least 70 days, if not more. Yield is good and the smoke is great. Hope this helps.

Thanks salt beef junky .... you have been helpful... I like large bushy plants...so I tend to tip them... you think I should leave them ? do you think they will grow tall ((5/51/2 ft)) if they are given the chance..?

Hey jats, I'm a big fan of big bushy girls also. I assume you mean snip the tips when you say 'tip them'? I haven't snipped a top in a long time, I pinch and bend the tops every few days, this allows the secondary and tertiary colas to reach the canopy nicely while the pinched ones are straightening themselves out. I found that that there was very little stretch from them once they were flipped to 12/12. I flowered mine at just less than 3 ft and that's pretty well where they ended up, maybe 6-8 inches extra height. May need a fairly long veg time to acquire a height of 5-5 1/2 feet. I don't want to hijack your thread man but I have a few pics I can post if you are interested.

It has been some years so I cannot give you details but grew the Brother's Grimm variety of White Russian and if it was not the whitest plant I ever grew it is in the top three or top four.

Mine were very thick and bushy and dense and loaded with budsites that most produced very well. Now this was an outdoor grow so I did have the sun working for me but they were in pots so it was sort of half and half. I seem to remember they were slightly nute sensitive but since I tend to push plants that way it may be pretty much normal and I just overdid it slightly but the other plants I had going at the time, a G-13 X Bubblegum had been fed and watered and cared for the same way and it did not show the early signs of burn I got on the White Russian so maybe at least the Brothers Brimm variety it is just slightly nute sensitive.

Oh .. I loved it and I'm a sativa lover so for me to say I loved a cross is saying something but then the Brothers Grimm variety did have a slightly higher percentage of sativa in it than Serious Seeds. I really like Serious Seeds version too ... its great for sure ... it is a true classic .... I just appreciated the little extra high octane in the Brothers Grimm version.

Here ya go jats. I don't think you can go wrong with Simon's WR. And yes, they grow very well outside. Sorry for the quality of the pics, but my old camera is pretty limited in it's abilities. :bigjoint:

SBJ.....that was FREAKIN LOVELY..... thankz so much.... I am X-Cited... :^D
You're welcome pal, hope I could shed a little light on her for ya.
One thing I will say about Serious Seeds, while I know there are lots of good breeders and strains out there, I don't think you'll find any much better than Simon or his plants. They are so stable and uniform it's sick! To date I've run his AK, WR and have a few more days left on a couple of his Kali Mist. 100% germination, 80% female and 100% dank. I didn't have a plant that disappointed.

Good luck with your grow.

damn those r nice pics!, mine look totally different, and i think all of mine are mostly sativa dominant but with the exception of 2, all of mine have those pencil thin one leaf poking out everywhere. i wish i had pics on this comp, maybe ill take some tmrw...i chop one today and counted 20 nugs that each weigh aprox 10gs each, and plus the rest of the cola that i didnt cut into. and it was only 2.5 feet tall! this one was more indica and finished quicker, the others are coming to 12 weeks flowering!
