who has yielded a lb+ off 3 plants?

lbs per a few plants is more likely to be found in an outdoor grow rather than an indoor one...1 gr per watt is about the best you can do (granted theres been higher but 1 gr per watt is the optimal standard).

best bet to getting a lb consistantly is to have a separate veg/flower/clone area...

this way you can freely rotate new plants in once others are harvested...this will give you a consistant supply of meds...rather than start a crop...wait 3-4 months then chop...this way you'd be chopping every 2-3 weeks (or however often you choose to start new ones in veg once those move into flower)

i have got an lb off two unknown mango crosses one was topped an supercropped the other was scrogged both on lucas formula wit a 600w, but like smokey and a good majority have said it takes some tinkering and a perpetual makes it a lil easier to achieve tht goal a lil quicker but its takes more work hope u get a decent yield and keep climbing the ladder to better buds

um, yes, i have resorted to calling it stupid :) it started off as "has anyone" to becoming "so that's what i'll get if i do it right yeah?" to "what makes them better than me?"

that is silly......
Agreed. I think it's funny when brand new growers think they know it all. I am a brand new grower and I can't believe how much I've had to learn with just one crop. I don't know what yield I'll get, but it's looking mighty fine.

One pound is much more dried product than most people realize seems like. I hope you get it my man, but experience will make us all better!

Cheers!

I average 3.5 to 5 oz per plant...3 weeks give or take a few days from seed planting to flipping too 12/12 under 600 watt HPS. 1lb from 3 plants is very attainable....

its all about getting the right strain and the right phenotype of that strain.

that will make the biggest difference out of everything you can do, hands down easily so.

if you can take a plant to harvest looking green (until you flush it) and everything ok, how much more can you dial it in? 1-2% more perhaps and sure you can get somewhat higher yields with some hydro and aero.
but if your plant is scoring heavy heavy yields, its got much more to do with the strain than the grower. (and the strain you got is probably related to the big bud strain or something similar)
example, 2 plants i got,
nug from one, fitting easily in the palm of my hand, is actually heavier than the nug that barely fits in my hand from the other one.

3 times larger nug but the smaller is heavier, its that dense.

totally different highs too, the bigger nug (and lighter) is a much more up high while the heavy dense one, is a knockout sleepy indica smoke.

though i gotta tell ya, personally i dont give a crap about yield, its always a sacrifice of quality for quantity.

and btw, unless you get really lucky, it might take years for you to get that "right phenotype"

unless you scour the forums in reviews of strains or simply ask around, what the heaviest yielder is available (taking care that enough people recommend it)
