is it better to use soil without fertilizer or soil with fertilizer in it already? the soil i have has nutrients in it but its pretty insignificant like .86-1.86-.86 (not exact but the soils in my trunk and i don't feel like going out there to look) will that be good to use for my plants or should i take it back and get soil with fertilizer already in it?

that soil would be fine to start seedlings in

and IMO soil with nutes is just wrong, but it's how I grow

i grew ak47 in pots using micracle grow moisture control it worked fine nice big buds just that and water the problem with it is i wasn't wanting to add anything cos it doesn't tell you whats in it im usin biobizz all mix its got alot of nutrients but i have a chart with it showin what to add and when u use less nutrients then the light mix and its oganic happy days lookin forward to it in germination now

with 3 weeks left to finish, I'm guessing that you have fallen into that only feed em bloom nutes and let em die towards the end trap that most folks think is normal,,,,feed em a dose of veg nutes!

all I got without pics

I am a soil guy so not sure but seems I read somewhere like every 30 minutes (don't hold me to that)

Perhaps SL will know for sure?

Hi man! (I need the help anyone who want to help..). In an (almost)stealthy cabinet with dimensions 85cm(33.5in) H x 35cm(13.8in) W x 45cm(17.7in) L is a 250w CFL (8U, those huges..) enougth for veg and flower 1 or 2 plants? The cabinet with mylar, and the proper fans and exhausts, thermo/hydro etc.Maybe some more cfls for extra light. I know tha a 250w hps is much more better than those cfls, but heat is as problem, and i dont think that a 250w hps is idea in a so small cabinet.
What do you believe? Also, what thermo/hydro measures i will expect?

Thank you, all of you so much!

Well I think the 250 watt cfl will work for 1 or 2 plants, most will say hps is better but I like CMH a 250 watt CMH runs cooler and is full spectrum much better light IMO

not sure what you mean by thermo/hydro???

alrighty well... i am an organic soil grower, i have a 8x3x1 & 1/2 closet....with a 400w metal halide for veg. the closet is set up in two parts. bottom half has all veging plants and then there is a seperator where i usually start seedlings with flouresants (but no seedlings right now.) temp is between 70-80 degrees, venting is keeping fresh air at a constant. the clones though, came from a friend. I used rootek organic cloning gel and starter rockwool cubes. no nutes for the clones (not needed yet). is this "wilty-ness" normal?

Need your opinions...
I have 16 fems in flower right now. Keep in mind, most of them are around 10 weeks and finishing slowly due to a bit of rootbound (I didnt get them into flower soon enough and dont have room for transplanting, it would just stress the plants at this point anyway).
Heres the deal.. Out of 12 finishing plants.. Most show alot of green leaf finally starting to yellow a bit and looking good. But 2 of them are showing some possible problems... Theres some tiny brown spotting on the feeder leaves. It starts from the vein out. Theres brown rings aroung the trichrome foot.. And also alot purpling in the leaf vein and out. (This is not the good purple). Im thinking potasium def maybe but im so far into flower idk what to do.
FoxFarmOFsoil
Ionic nutes half strength every other water (watered about every 4-5 days)(PH'd at around 6)
While in bloom im using Ionic Bloom 1-1-3 and Ionic Boost 0-5-6 at the above schedule
Dual 400w MH/HPS
low 80's temps
30-40% humidity
Its all in the sig below.

Sorry I cant post pics of these close ups.. Their not turning out to be clear enough that zoomed in.
I'll prolly let it ride and finish out but would still like to know what it could be.

ok so they are/were clones,,,are they rooted yet???

It looks like a ph problem, why I'm asking for details

Hmm the plan is a cabinet with the very basics, so with thermo/hydro i reference to the organ that measures. That is a basic :P. Sorry for the bad explanation (and also for my bad english)..
First time hear about CMH. Are they good for some reason? The budget is low, so i prefer giving 50euros for a 250w CFL, with no the heat problems, than giving 90euros for a 250w hps (+ MH bulb), and all the heat problems :S..

I dont know..

so you meant thermometer and hygrometer to measure temps & humidity

and yes CMH (Ceramic Metal Halide) is the bomb
