why is it growing like that?

i have grown indoors be4 but not under cfls...im using a 42watt cfl and 2 24watt cfls. my soil is an imported potting mix that we mix with peatmoss...we use it for our ponsiettas...i have a fertilizer called alaska fish fertilizer i have been using since seed...my plant is under 24hr light...its been about 3weeks now and my plant is only about 2inches high...i had the lights too close and my leaves turned brown and dried out pretty eraly...i corrected this and its doing fine...i have about 4nodes on my tree but its still so short..the strain is 1024 medical... the plant is sooo full and it should be a few inches taller by now i dont understand y and im goin by the seemorebuds book and he budded at the fourth node (where mine is now) but his tree was about 4-5inches and mine is 2...also today lookin at my tree it is accelerating in growth but the lower leaves are not yet growin any bigger but the top leaves are and i have other nodes poppin up from the bottom but still i dont have a leaf bigger than an inch yet...not sure wat the problem is can u help?

how far are the lights now?

like 4-5inches im not sure if i should bud soon it has like 4nodes or wait for the size

im going by seemore buds book 'buds for less' he budded at the 4th node but his tree was 4inches tall so im nt sure if i should wait or bud...i dnt want to b stuck with a monster and i dnt want to b stuck with i little ass yeild...this is a good strain ive grown it and smoked it but was grown under a better light (1000watt hps) and its good!!! and dnt really want to end up with a waist of space or time

Its just starting to recover it sounds like from what you said, let it finish recovering and get bigger first.

srry nevermind i get u...its weird though never had that happen....wat size do u think i should bud...its under cfls...havcent done it be4 just worked with bigger lights...

from the heat stress from the lights being to close! Just give it a week and see how its doing and then give it a few days past that week to see what has happened then if good, flower, if not wait another week or so.

How much room are you working with for starts?

Id throw some more cfls in there for sure if you can bro!

Alright with 4ft I would flower at around 1ft

around the size he does if you intend to follow his guide. height wise that is. If you get a fan and blow it on the plant and lights you should be able to get your lights closer, cfls lose their effectiveness quite quicky. I keep mine 1/2-2 an inch away from the plant.

you better use your 1000w then, A plant flowered at 4 inches using weak lighting like cfls is not gonna give you a huge yeild, unless you get more cfls, and even then it will only be a decent harvest.

yeaa only problem is im bac in bermuda and those lights and balasts are all in the states so this is all i got
