Wihte Russian - Waterfarm

Your buds are beautiful. I am a big fan of the neon look. It reminds me of Kryptonite from the superman movies back in the day. Did you feed veg nutes during the first two weeks of the flower stage to preserve your fan leaves, and then switch to bloom nutes?

Thanks! I use GH's Flora Nova Bloom from start to finish, and supplement with Cal-mag to add back the missing calcium due to the RO water I use. During the last few weeks of veg I'll sometimes use a bit of GH's Flora-micro as well, but only if it's needed. I tend to back off the nutes all together in the last 3 weeks of flower, and flush for a week before harvest - this girl is fading fast, so I expect most of it will be yellowed out by then but it's a good sign - don't want any nutrient left in it come chop time.

Thanks what's your favorite and which yields better also flowering times?

C99 and P express has my interest and mango haze and many more yield isn't as important I have a nice balanced strain but want a good sativa for daytime high.
I think with those specifications, you've already narrowed your choice down to the Pineapple Express.. :) Decent flowering time (9-10 weeks), yields very heavy, great energizing effect!

Thought I'd do up a special pic post for my Fruit Auto. This girl just starting her 10th week since seed - looking good! PPMs didn' go higher than 800 in the waterfarm, and now she's fading nicely, right on schedule! Enjoy the pics!

Thanks everyone! Yeah, this is the first time I've tried an auto strain. Some may argue that it's a waste of time/space to run an auto in a waterfarm, but seeing these results it's looking as though this medium allows you to really push these ruderalis plants to their max potential... It's looking like we shouldn't have any problems getting the prescribed 40+ grams dry from her. Looking at the size of the trunk on this girl, I think I'm going to try putting 2 in one bucket next round and train them to really fill the res - we'll see. It would be really nice to have some variety each harvest time and run 2 different auto strains in one waterfarm while running a single feminized plant in the other - still only running 2 waterfarms at once. I've been seriously thinking about purchasing 1 more waterfarm kit and starting 3 farms at one when I start a new grow, putting 1 fem'd seed in one and a reg type strain in the other 2 - thus increasing my chances of at least 2 females...but after seeing this result with an auto in the waterfarm, my next grow may just be 2 waterfarms, one fem'd seed and one with 2 autos in it... I love experimenting! :weed:

:leaf: ...thought I'd add this to my journal notes as I decide on my next grow - help keep my ideas in order... :leaf:

- it's tempting to keep an auto strain 'always' running in my tent, whether flowering or vegging since the light-cycle doesn't matter. For this reason, it may be a good idea to have an auto always waiting 'on deck' to start right after each regular harvest. Then we can have a guaranteed harvest time approx every 2 months (or 10-11 weeks) amidst the normal 4-month grow cycle of the normal sized strains in the tent
- will need to try running 2x autos in one WF to use the farm to it's full potential = one issue with this may be the different strains having different nutrient needs - sharing a res with this issue may result it one decent plant and one not so good...will be fun to test!
- another idea is to start 3-4 other soil-pot autos at the same time as the waterfarm auto (on 1 half of the tent).
- could also just wait until flowering begins on the normal waterfarm each grow, and then start the auto(s) when starting flowering = only adv of this would be to save on the power bill with only needing 1 light for the first ~6 weeks

Hey man, great grow! It's funny, within the next month I will be doing a White Russian waterfarm scrog with just flora nova bloom (will also be using koolbloom additives though). I noticed in scottyballs thread that you had the pdf to all his posts. Any chance I could get it?
