Hey everyone. I've been reading Aerogarden forums on this site for days now but I can't seem to find anything about the Aerogarden 6.0 elite+
http://www.aerogardenstore.com/promotion/index.php?promoName=catalog&pageName=product_aerogardens&viewProduct=6000-0GP
Unlike the other aerogardens, it actually sprays a mist onto the roots instead of having the roots submerged in water.
It has the 3 bulbs as the pro 200 does, as well as being able to extend to 2 feet tall.
In addition, although it only has 6 pods, it IS the later(latest?) version compared to the 7 pod classic. This model uses "active microbial sponge" instead of the classic inert sponge which is supposed to increase yield by 33%
This is what they advertise about their watering system in the model:
Advanced Growing System (AGS): Direct oxygenation by aeration (air pump).
as opposed to the classic:
Classic Technology: Passive oxygenation from drip action (water pump).
HAS ANYONE USED THIS MODEL? I'm afraid of purchasing it before I read any positive reviews of successful growth. Please respond soon, I'm getting ancy about ordering
